Episode 142: Called To Be A Living Sacrifice

Genesis 12:7; Rom 12:1; I Thessalonians 5:24) I’m the Old Testament, Abraham built an altar (raised structure where sacrifice/worship is made) in honour of God knowing that God will do what He says. “And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭12:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬ As New Testament Believers, we should raise ourselves as living sacrifice to honour God whilst awaiting the manifestation of His covenant, His promises in our lives. Faithful and absolutely trustworthy is He who called and promised us, for He will complete His work in us. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭12:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬ “Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? To surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart.
