David’s words in Psalm 9:1 remind us to give God the full attention of our gratitude. When we reflect on His marvelous works—His faithfulness, healing, provision—it should lead us to whole-hearted worship. Holding back praise is often tied to distraction, discouragement, or pride. But when we focus fully on God’s goodness, praise becomes our natural response. It strengthens our faith and lifts our spirits. Tonight, let your heart rest in praise, and remember all He’s done. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are worthy of all my praise—my heart adores You. I exalt You for Your mighty works and unfailing love. CONFESSION: I confess I have held back praise in hard times. I’ve forgotten Your past faithfulness when overwhelmed. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for every miracle, answered prayer, and moment of grace You’ve poured into my life. You never fail. SUPPLICATION: Teach me to praise You wholeheartedly, even when circumstances try to silence my song. Fill my spirit with joy as I declare Your goodness. PRAYER “But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.” PSALM 59:16 Dear Lord, You are a mighty tower – a strong and reliable fortress when I am in need of shelter. You have proven time and time again to be faithful and reliable. Your power alone is worthy of worship. You display mastery over nature, nations, and the heavens. You also have authority to enact judgment on me for my sins, but instead You have shown abundant mercy. You are my defender and not my accuser. You are my advocate, friend, and hero.
