Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 143:8 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. -Colossians 3:17 DEVOTION Based on Colossians 3 Colossians 3:17 shifts our perspective from obligation to worship. Every word we speak and every task we perform—no matter how small—is an opportunity to honor Jesus. Living in His name means reflecting His character: love, humility, and gratitude. It invites us to move through life intentionally, with hearts focused on God. Even mundane actions become sacred when done with thanksgiving. You don’t need a stage to glorify God—your daily routine is holy ground. Today, let your life be a continual offering of worship. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are Lord over all—worthy of every word and deed. Your name brings power, peace, and purpose. CONFESSION: I confess I’ve acted from selfishness and spoken carelessly. I’ve forgotten to live with You in mind. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the grace that covers my daily life—for the chance to glorify You in every moment, big or small. SUPPLICATION: Help me walk through each day with intention. May everything I do reflect Your love and truth. Shape my habits and conversations so that my entire life honors Your name. PRAYER “Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.” PSALM 143:8 Dear Lord, I pray for listening ears and an open heart. Every morning when I rise, it is my primary desire to hear Your voice and move in tandem with Your will. I trust You for every step I take, and move with assurance that Your will for my life is far greater than anything I could dream up for myself. I lift my soul to You, and surrender my mind, heart, and actions to Your perfect desires.
