Today, advertising, social media, and constant comparison act much like the serpent, whispering narratives of lack to intentionally manufacture dissatisfaction with what we already have. This modern coveting carries severe systemic consequences, driving high rates of anxiety and depression alongside massive personal and credit card debt.
