We haven’t visited 2011 in quite some time, so we chose to visit the Montgomery County Fairgrounds (one of the last times for ROH) for an event that had become a staple of the calendar by that point (only one year missed due to a cancelled event). The tournament, whose roots extend beyond Ring of Honor, offered up a future title opportunity for the winners who have included Bryan Danielson, Roderick Strong, and Chris Hero.The 2011 edition, the first under SBG, ended up as an opportunity for much-needed infusion into the top of the card so many chances were given for people to step up to the plate.
