Street & Documentary Photographer and Fujifilm Ambassador Suzanne Stein joins the podcast to talk about how she stumbled across photography later in life while traveling around Europe with her son and instantly fell in love with the medium and felt a true calling to shoot the people around her and sometimes the people who have been forgotten by the rest of society.  Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Suzanne had her share of hardships that isolated her in many ways, but helped strengthen her character and her determination in others.  After a car wreck left her near disabled in her 30s, she began to experiment with art while trying to physically recover.  She was drawn towards figurative art and began trying for find her way in the art world, but as a single mom it was hard to truly devote herself.  A while later, she found herself really fascinated with photography while traveling and witnessing the people and cultures around her.  The rest is history and she has devoted herself to the medium since.  During our conversation Suzanne talks about what attracted her to Skid Row during her earlier days behind the camera and the personal connection she feels with so many people who are otherwise overlooked, how she began to develop her own style of shooting, the challenges she faces as a woman in the competitive world of street photography, and the advice she gives to others following their own creative path.   To Learn More About Suzanne Stein Visit: https://www.suzannesteinphoto.com And Follow Her on Instagram At: https://www.instagram.com/suzanne_stein/ To Learn More About Visual Revolutionary Visit: http://www.visualrevolutionary.com And Follow On Instagram At: https://www.instagram.com/visualrevolutionary/
