This isn't gentle laying down but desperate throwing. David knew that burdens retained are burdens that crush. The promise is twofold: He sustains the person and secures their position. 'Never suffer to be moved' means your circumstances may shake, but your foundation won't shift. God catches what we cast and holds whom He catches. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Burden-bearer God, You invite the crushing weight I carry. You sustain when I cannot stand. I worship You, my unmovable foundation. CONFESSION: I confess holding onto burdens You've asked me to cast. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for Your strength that sustains and secures. SUPPLICATION: Help me throw every burden on You today, trusting Your sustaining power. PRAYER He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice. PSALM 72:2 Dear Lord, as I lay in my bed, I feel the weight of the day lift from my weary bones. My mind and body yearn for peace and rest. As I close my eyes, I offer up a prayer to the heavens above. I release all my worries and anxieties and lay them at Your feet. I give thanks for the blessings You have bestowed upon me today. As I enter the realm of sleep, let Your loving hands guide me into the land of dreams. May Your grace shine upon me like the stars in the sky, bringing peace and serenity to my heart. Blessed be Your glorious name forever. May the whole earth be filled with Your glory! Watch over my loved ones near and far, and let them feel Your love and care wherever they are.
