Episode 149: Intro to the Sevens

There’s so much going on with the number seven, both in general and in tarot’s structure and mythology.   Across history, and in many cultures there’s so many associations with the number seven. There are seven days of the week. Seven continents with seven seas. Seven colors of a rainbow. Seven major stars in the big dipper. Seven deadly sins and virtues. Seven notes in a major/minor scale. Seven chakras. Seven wonders of the ancient and natural world. Seven metals of antiquity.   In tarot, seven has a mixed reception. Melissa’s represents the sevens as conflict, and impatience. You don’t get what you want, yet. You still need to put in the work and wait for it to manifest.   Homework: Look up what seven means to you.
