Episode 149 with Debra Brunson , Micro Biologist and Breast cancer Survivor

Debra Brunson, is a 37-year-old breast cancer survivor. She was diagnosed almost a year ago and she can see the light at the end of this year (+) worth of treatments. But being a survivor is not all that she is . She is married, with no kids, but she do have four elderly pugs. They live in Jacksonville, Florida and like to spend most of their time time cuddled up on the couch with the dogs, watching movies or TV or reading.  She has a PhD in microbiology and immunology ad currently work as a postdoctoral associate at the University of Florida where She studies bacterial pathogens. Having a bit of knowledge on biomedical sciences has really helped her to understand and cope with her diagnosis and treatment.
