Episode 15: Col. Brady Hauboldt / a career perspective
from AFLCMC Leadership Log Podcast · host AFLCMC
As our vice commander Col. Brady Hauboldt gets ready to retire we sat down with him to discuss his eclectic career. A recurring theme emerged during our discussion; an Airman’s plan for themselves and the Air Force’s plan for that Airman are often diametrically opposed…and that is not necessarily a bad thing. To put it in his words, “ that was my plan, but thankfully the Air Force had a different plan for me.” After a 30+ year career the U.S. Air Force Academy graduate offers some sage advice to young Airmen who are just starting out in their careers; don’t forget to celebrate your and your team’s successes, and whatever the Air Force gives you to do find a way to make it fun. If you’re having fun doing what you’re doing then you will be successful.
