This year, he won the Wisconsin State Public Forum Debate tournament and also won the Wisconsin State Congressional Debate tournament. Furthermore, in 2019, Bera placed 4th place in Extemporaneous Speaking state-wide. He has won several local tournaments in Wisconsin throughout his four years of competing. Due to his vast experience in a variety of speaking events, Bera qualified to NSDA and NCFL nationals in multiple categories multiple times over his speech and debate career. Finally, he was elected as a debate and speech captain for Brookfield East High School for the last 3 years.   In the fall, Bera will be attending Stanford University as a part of the class of 2024.
