Episode 15 - Iz Connell

Put your best foot forward, because it is the fifteenth episode of the Kink Kloset!I would like to welcome the magnificent, Iz Connell, into the Kink Kloset. Iz is a Sydney based kinkster who grew up in country New South Wales. She has been involved in the fetish and kink community here in Sydney ever since she was 18. Iz is a staple of the Sydney community. You can find her at leather socials, see her riding with the Dykes on Bikes and even hitting up the dance floor at Extra Dirty. One of her proudest moments was being the first female to be elected as part of the Harbour City Bears Committee. Now at 27, Iz applies values she learned in the kink community, such as consent and fairness, to her profession so she can make a positive impact in people's lives.In this episode we learn about who Iz is at her core. This is a special moment for us where we get to strip back the layers and learn about someone's person. While learning about Iz's values and how she has dealt with judgemental thoughts, she says something which can resonate with most of us. "It is not the first thought that matters. Instead, it is the second thought which counts." This is a reflection on how to manage judgemental thoughts, because it is the thoughts we have which influence our actions, which count.
