We ended up chatting about his stint in the Army, how he selected Criminal Justice in college, and how he moved to AZ and eventually became a Pima County Sheriff Deputy.He has funny, scary and harrowing tales of being in two separate shootings...But more importantly he talks about his battle with PTSD and the organizations he is working with to help first responders and military veterans address the issues that come as a result of their service.Although we started as strangers, we wrapped up almost 4 hours later as friends...That's why I split this one into 2 episodes, but PART 2 will be next week!
