Growing up in Kent, England, her early life was marked with parental substance addiction and racism. Fortunately, she was able to find escape through her love of street dance. During the pandemic, Sherisse dove inward to unpack the lessons of her childhood and discover her true purpose. In this podcast, she shares how she was able to break molds of childhood trauma and discrimination by being true to herself and expressing her spirit through dance.
