Episode 15: Special Guest Andrew Bosley! Plus Lords of Vegas, Skulk Hollow, The Big Book of Madness and more

This episode we are joined by a special guest: renowned boardgame artist Andrew Bosley. You know his work from Mission: Red Planet, Everdell, Tapestry, and the newly-kickstarted Merchants of the Dark Road. Andrew shares some of the highlights of his career, which include his freelance days, working for Ubisoft as a concept artist, and of course his foray into board gaming. He also shares advice for young artists struggling with their work, looking for inspiration, or wanting to get into the board game industry. It's a fascinating conversation and Andrew was very giving of his time. In fact, he sticks around for the whole show!!! In this episode's Sizzling Games Mitch rolled with the sharks on the Strip in Lords of Vegas, Connor played the asymmetric-attacker Skulk Hollow, and Andrew and his son unwittingly unleashed the curses from The Big Book of Madness. In the Board Game Bracket we reveal the winner of Dice Throne vs Maximum Apocalypse, before announcing the new match-up: Great Western Trail vs Sheriff of Nottingham. Make sure you hit up our socials and cast your vote to make sure your favourite goes through to the next round. Finally, in Swear An Oath, Andrew joins in the fun with a pledge to finally get Root to the table, and we look forward to hearing if he fulfilled his oath in a future episode. Connor follows up his victory in Skulk Hollow with an oath to play the roll 'n' write game Steamrollers, and Mitch swears an oath to play Circle The Wagons after ticking Crossroads of Heroes off his to-do list.
