Episode 15: /The Govt. Use of Organized Religion to Win the Cold War/Stats on Changing US Religious Affiliations

This episode begins a lengthy series of reviewing a key historical section from Dr. Bennett's last book, "Two Masters and Two Gospels, Vol. 1: The Teaching of Jesus Vs. the "Leaven of the Pharisees" in Talk Radio and Cable News," of which more about it and its availability can be found here. He begins by recounting the historical narrative of how the US government sought to win the Cold War under Truman and Eisenhower by making it a "holy war," and inventing terms like "One Nation Under God" and back-filling a spiritual heritage we all think has always existed, all contrived by wartime propagandists in the intelligence and Wall Street board rooms. We also introduce the regular "Contemporary Intelligence Briefing Case File" - this time about a new Pew study revealing the rapid decline in those identifying as Christian, during the time the Religious Right was successfully "taking America back."
