When you deviate from your investment plan due to the performance of the stock market, you are actually practicing market timing, which is a fool game. In this episode, I explain why it’s so hard to time the market and why it’s better to stay invested, and keep investing according to your financial or investment plan. That was true even with the Great Depression. The big market drop came in 1929 but the stock market didn’t hit bit bottom until 1932.
