Episode 151: Potions

While potions weren’t explicitly a thing in Practical Magic, pop culture would have the average person believing that potions are made up of strange animal parts and bits of hard-to-find plants that one must journey into the pits of hell and back to harvest. And that they must be brewed up in the most elegant of cauldrons, naturally.   The truth is that potions are liquids used for any purpose at all. The key is that it is used with a purpose.   You can create potions with ingredients you select on purpose or you can use something like lotion and pour your intentions into something already created.
