We discuss the origins of their CORAL platform, which was brought to life in the basement of Ghent University by Willy Verstraete. The concept of "Microbial Resource Management" and how Sam used the profits from his successful CRO, ProDigest, to self-fund the seed and go all-in on MRM. Sam & the team's latest milestones include ph2b STARFISH-UC trial initiation, & an upcoming study in Pouchitis. We also close on what it took to raise their €55million Series B, which Sam closed whilst literally halfway up an Alp, and the learnings Sam has taken from that process.
