Representation among women and minorities on corporate boards is ticking up, but more work lies ahead as investors and other stakeholders demand more diversity. Data show that more diversity can drive better results, and the NYSE Board Advisory Council was launched to champion qualified candidates nominated by leaders of listed companies.
