Nancy and Bess go to visit their friend from high school, Colleen Healey, who is gearing up to show her horse, Nightingale, in a competition, but odd things keep happening to Nightingale! The horse is found roaming loose outside of her stall one night, even though Colleen swears she locked her in, nails are placed in her stall and many other scary forms of sabotage keep occurring! A local horse trainer who had an accident at a previous Olympics and is desperate to win?
