Episode 151 - Wave Analysis

Noam and Jen try their best to ride the wave of news from Trump's first week back in his old office. We try to decipher what Musk's, er, heartfelt wave to the crowd / possible Nazi salute means and why he can't just apologize for being weird in public.  We then move into discussing the J6 pardon bonanza and our theories about whether the Trump camp was lying when it said each case would be evaluated individually or if Trump just noped out of doing the work.  After that, we discuss the confirmation proceedings of Trump's various Cabinet nominees, including the one whose confirmation seems to be moving at a snail's pace (it's Tulsi). The two biggest confirmations from the past week were Marcio Rubio as Secretary of State and Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, and we discuss the merits and demerits of each one.  We will be back on Twitch this week to discuss the TV we've been watching over the past few weeks.
