Episode 152: Ungrading: Focus On Learning and Not the Grade. A Doctoral Study Conversation.

This semester, Cesar and I have been working hard together as doctoral students at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley on our topic of study: ungrading. For those unfamiliar with the term, ungrading is a form of evaluation in which there are no grades or strict metrics; instead, feedback is open-ended and ongoing. It's something we both feel passionate about, inspired to share with others, and determined to explore further. We've been diving deep into this concept - discussing its possibilities and implications - and using our own experience to develop frameworks for educators who might be interested in trying it out.
