Episode #153: The Secret at Solaire

Hello, True Drews! Well...I have to issue a serious content warning on this episode. *This book talks a lot about body image issues, namely, through the scope of 1990's diet culture and unfortunately, Bess Marvin is at the center of all of it. I really (spoiler alert) was not a fan of this book! But Nancy, Bess and George find themselves at Spa Solaire, a ritzy spa out in the Arizona desert, after Bess sells the most of their products in the midwest. As soon as the girls arrive though, things are not as they appear. Someone is sabotaging the resort and the owners seem to be the targets! Bess also gets sucked into the overly rigorous exercising and restricted dieting that the spa is known for, which worries her friends. Will Bess snap out of it? Can Nancy solve the mystery? And who is actually guilty in this mystery and what is the crime they are guilty of? I would say I hope you enjoy this episode, but this one was a hard one for me to tackle.
