Episode 155 - El Camino (1:16:51)
from Actual Anarchy Podcast - AnCap Movie Reviews from a Rothbardian Perspective · host Actual Anarchy
We’re about to apex our way through "El Camino" the continuation of the excellent series by Vince Gilligan, "Breaking Bad" with a feature-length film depicting the immediate aftermath of the events in the final episode. Jesse has emerged from the chaos in a daring escape but faces an uncertain future where he is willing to pay any price to find freedom. Our guest is Jared Wall of Anarcho Land where one of his projects, called "Breaking Liberty", is an analysis of the series "Breaking Bad". He has two books out now and will be releasing a third. Next week, we're going to be like nature and oppress the shit out of Tom Hanks in "Cast Away" with Keith Knight of “Don’t Tread on Anyone” and “Liberty Weekly”. Show Notes: http://www.actualanarchy.com/155 Presented by www.ActualAnarchy.com Robert and I analyze popular movies from a Rothbardian/Anarcho-Capitalist perspective. We use movies as a starting point for people who may not be familiar with this way of thinking. Discussion of the plot and decisions that characters make in relation to morality and violations of the non-aggression principle are our bread and butter. We also will highlight and discuss any themes or lessons from Austrian Economics that we can glean from the film. The point is to show what anarchy actually is with instances that are presented in film. We publish at least once per week; and occasionally will do specials surrounding holidays or events (elections/olympics) and have guests. SUBSCRIBE, RATE AND REVIEW ON APPLE PODCASTS (or iTUNES)
