The God of the Moon has had visions not dissimilar to Moon Knight, of devilish deeds and the world in ruin. In the present, Moon Knight and Khonshu visit Mephisto, still incarcerated in a mystical prison in Las Vegas. Mephisto is killed, and as Khonshu mentions the Devil's murder is only the first step, he declares that he -  and not Moon Knight -  be the one responsible for taking on the greater, more ancient evil lurking beyond. Khonshu converts the Island of Manhattan into his own image and reality as we know it is at the mercy of the Moon God. T'Challa is held prisoner as Moon Knight tries to extract the primordial power from the Wakandan Avenger, but with little success. Moon Knight reveals that his faith in Khonshu isn't totally blind, and we see Moon Knight utilise Ghost Rider's powers and turn to the Fist of Vengeance in search of Starbrand. Elsewhere, Iron Man and Captain Marvel guard Brandy, who is the infant with the Starbrand, but it's not long before they are surrounded by undead Egyptian Mummies - Khonshu has come for them!
