Episode 158 - Weird: The Al Yankovic Story

Well this is one that none of us were expecting. Chris & Dom sit down to break down the Roku Original, "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" a fictionalized biopic of the titular parody musician who was made famous for making style pastiches of songs but changing the lyrics, usually in a polka fashion with his famous accordian. This movie takes all the tried and true music biopic bits and throws them in a cocktail stew of insanity, as this incorporates action, comedy and truly bizarre imagery to make a movie that in actuality, is just a really well made comedy. It originates from a Funny or Die sketch that Weird Al wrote, with the same director, Eric Appel, helming it, and this movie is a ball from start to finish.
