Episode 159 - Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (w/Luk Reviews)

from Talkin' TV

Oh boy, here we go. This was always going to be a tough one for a variety of different reasons, the least which being Chadwick Boseman's tragic passing. But somehow, someway, with everything possibly going against them, Ryan Coogler and team pulled off a movie that should not have worked as well as it did. The truth is that Wakanda Forever might just be one of the best the year of 2022 has to offer. In the wake of T'Challa's death, Shuri, Ramonda, Okoye, M'Baku and rest of the world must prepare themselves against a world that is hellbent on finding vibranium, and the emergence of a new threat in the form of the underwater nation of Talocan, led by iconic Marvel character Namor the Sub-mariner, portrayed onscreen by "Narcos" star Tenoch Huerta. Dom & Luk sit down to discuss the events leading up to the film, how they factored in, and what truly allowed this film to stand out amongst a mediocre movie year. New episodes of the #talkintvpodcast are released every Monday on Spotify & Apple Podcasts.
