Superfans: Karen and CaitlinNewbies: Kristen and Danielle Fun Facts:Karen is remembering Caitlin's visit to her old home in North Carolina, Caitlin is happy to be done grading, Danielle is excited to be seeing Karen very soon, and Kristen is pleased to finally be settling in to her and Karen's apartment. Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3, episode 5, "Homecoming":-It was a little weird for Buffy to want to be Homecoming Queen so badly. It seemed like a step back.-Normal Joe-Schmoe's probably know Buffy as that girl that beat up the football players one time.-So, yeah... Willow and Xander. What the hell?-We sort of all agree that if this would have happened a season or two ago, we could be on board. Just not now. Except for Karen who definitely sees why Willow might stumble a bit here.-Slayer fest 1998! (Whoa time warp!)-Buffy and Cordy bonding time is amazing.-Scott breaks up with Buffy. Kind of yawny affair there.-We gush over Angel a little. He's pretty doing Tai Chi.-Favorite scenes-Favorite lines Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 3, episode 6, "Band Candy":-When we first heard about the candy, were we instantly suspicious?-Caitlin was very excited to do this pair of episodes.-First impressions of the mayor: He's such a weirdo.-We were all definitely attracted to teenage Giles. Yowzers.-Teenage Giles was pretty tame compared to what we've heard about what he was up to as a rebellious teenager.-The adults were more caricatures of teenagers. Then again, the Scooby gang has grown quickly.-Ethan is trouble, but a fun kind of trouble.-Snyder the teen is so much fun. He's that joiner that you try to avoid so often in high school.-Teenage Joyce was fun too. She seemed like a much more consistent personality as a teen than she sometimes comes off as in adulthood.-The mayor needs to sacrifice babies to a demon. Wait... what?-What do we think about Joyce and Giles? Would they work as a real couple?-Favorite scenes-Favorite lines Listener Feedback:-Angel locked in chains has certain people excited!-Listeners have decided they are watching Angel with or without us!-This newbie does not know what "Hush" is about, but glad the someone saw the set-The struggle is real and we understand if you cannot keep to our pace, just no spoilers!
