#159 The Eight of Swords This card is about fear or trepidation. The figure on the card is seemingly trapped but the swords aren’t cutting into the person. They can move away if they want to. Hilary sees this card similar to a knotted necklace, where it takes a different angle to get it fixed. To think your way out of any situation. The person knows that certainty is there versus the uncertainty that creates the fear and trepidation. Jaymi offers another layer of meaning as she learned that this card also shows a magical initiation where the initiate has to trust themselves to know where to find the out.   Homework: What responsibility can you take in a situation you feel stuck or uncertain?
