The situation in Israel is dire, yet God doesn’t strike the nation down – instead He sends Elijah the prophet to show the way. It’s a reoccurring theme throughout the Bible. We mess up and He wades in. He never leaves or forsakes us. His commitment right from the very beginning was to be with mankind, and involve us in His purposes. We live in uncertain times in the world right now. But He send each of us who have yielded our lives to Him, packed full of His Holy Spirit, to bring light in the darkness – just as He sent Elijah the prophet.
