Well, as you say, but it's interesting because I took several of the listeners who were there at the Lions Building.

It was an awesome contest. It was a happy contest. Yeah. And here's the problem with the contest is that Deann said I'm going to go to, I'm pointing at Deann.
Where did you go? Are we at? I think we had a winner because we had one person actually guess we were at. I mean, we had like two or three people guess where she was at after the second picture.
We had to use the first one. I went to Texas. And I was trying to mislead people that we were in Mexico. by posting text mexford texas is mexico dianne he's welcome to get the tacos anywhere you know the first picture was good because it was like walmart and had tropical fruit exactly and i was like hey that's great you know you could be in florida than brill is where good yeah you could be in a sky was good yeah you could be in hawaii you could be in mexico your your pictures are too obvious and then the next day it's like here's a plate of tex mex food where am i texas main well yeah you you know we we started getting on our case and so maybe i was in spain maybe i was in spain you could talk as a spain so we got on her case and she she sent us harassing text messages saying i could have been in main and she attached this link to like some taco truck in main about how main is the new hot spot for tacos it's like no you don't go to main for tacos you go to main for lobster rolls jakes lobster lobster that was going to include i put umbrellas in some like a Seattle okay just it was just obvious to you guys because you knew where i was no no anyway so you do your own and put up your own photos well just so you know i am leaving in about three weeks to a vacation destination and i'll show you how the contest should be done how about that and what we'll do is where are you going i can't mention it i was just helping maybe it's like kind of an awesome so now and you don't want to make it so unobvious and don't get so who was our winner of the half-day contest i do know we'll figure out we'll contact them winner you will be contacted and again what what did they win they're gonna go on post-architectance i hate you you're not gonna get to come because you're gonna be cut trips we the cool people will take the winner to worker's cemetery which is pretty cool we're going anyways castle yeah just you and me it'll be a mandate whole hands broon that's right okay i tell you we took some kids from one p-kisville there for an article they did it was really good article i have to let you read it um and we went on a hair brand while just changed because it was dark when we got there and we'd never been there before and we broke my car just a little bit on the front your brand new car yeah well it was underneath well i thought it was just off the side of the road which it is and there's a great big sign that says marker cemetery but no we went off the side of an mountain that looked on just gave you well not in his head was priceless yes yes he kind of broke the brand new car he kind of mined it yeah technically technically he was driving so technically he broke the brand car oh now you're blaming the man it was actually hit a dirt work the other day and uh i just kind of knocked it over it didn't hurt my car i just got to knock the door over it's kind of a little up tap anyway so we know where the cemetery is now so we don't have to break everybody's car drive but the hill and try to turn around excellent there are actually a couple of cemeteries i wouldn't mind visiting uh pleasant green out by uh uh west side of the valley is a really good one yeah i think i'm strange but considering all the ghost i've ever done i've never investigated this i've never investigated this i've never investigated this it was pretty cool it seems like there's it seems like there's too much potential for outside variables to affect recording i have a really hard time when i record outside and i probably just need to get a wet sock for my recorder um but i just get so much wind and parking dogs well and the thing about worker cemetery is it's out in the middle of absolute freaking nowhere um so it's quieter and then all of the heads down well there's a few that aren't but most of them are fenced in with big tall fences so it kind of breaks down wind and noise i think it's great place to oh no give it a shot plus green's kind of like that too there's a creepy guy out there like on our first foray up the side of the mountain which is what was his name silent don't know he was just just some dude out there we're like you know what the cemetery is and then we parked in the car and we're walking up this wrong trail and i thought i hope creepy fire dude because he had fire doesn't like him up here and kill us and was he cooking human flesh over the fire right next to his chainsaw with his leather mask that's how scary stories start right i know so i just could see us as an episode of idtb and i was very nervous all right so castle will be figured out how uh daylight savings time works yet are you still trying to figure out to brain around that i've left my clock for their either in the future people are going to win our head of us still yes anyway uh why we are kind of on the subject let's talk about a little bit of business um for those who've been to the pod goblin soon to be pod bash uh investigations um as you know the wisp's team actually uh staffs those events and i got thinking the other day that we could use a few more wisp team members um probably two to three part-time investigators normal people only please yeah if you're we're gonna have to quit sorry okay seriously back to the applications wow oh he said it i was just touching it so we are looking for probably two to three new part-time members and what a part-time member is is if you go to our web page i kind of have the teams outlined i've got the lead team which is pretty much everybody in this room plus tinnis slob wisperer brandy and a couple other people but that's a lead team and they go to pretty much every single investigation uh with very few exceptions part-time members are a lot of the ones that you see they come to some of those investigations for the private investigations but they also are quite frequently at the pod batch ghost hunts and then i've got some reserved members who they're just really really busy there's just another way to say it and so we rarely see them and then periodically we stop seeing people and they disappear and become honorary members or just get moved out completely um but i could actually use two to three part-time members who are able to come help us um so what i am going to do hopefully either tonight after we record this podcast or the next few days so if it's not there when you check you're checking back so it will soon be we are going to have an application an online application to come be a wispe member um there are a few things that you need to do first off you need to be willing to buy your own lanyard those are like 10 bucks you'll be required to buy a wispe shirt there's there's a monthly fee made out of lurch that you have to buy a hundred dollars a month no it's only 20 there's no monthly fee um but you'll have to buy donuts yeah we will make it buy donuts a while but essentially you just need to provide your own uniform a lanyard and you'll eventually need to get some of your own equipment some sort and uniform sounds a little grandiose it is a t-shirt which t-shirt is a little seven dollars there's there's a web page you can go to called logo up and you can pick a t-shirt preferably black or dark gray or even like a navy blue i guess and uh you pay for the t-shirt and then uh we put the the logo on it because you have the template t-m yes i do and the magical wisps and in reality you can spend anywhere from like you said seven dollars for a t-shirt yeah i've got a couple polos that usually wear it to the you're wearing a nice fleece tonight i have a fleece that i have at home as well or you get like a full i just don't set it on some SpongeBob at jennies don't get a full jacket if you wanted to um drop a couple hundred bucks yeah in reality though like i've got some polo shirts that i wear and those are like sixty dollar polo shirts i've also got some seven dollar t-shirts so this guy's a limit kind of there's far as what you want to do what you want to spend they go online to wisps.org um look go under the teams look for the application link i'll have some details there what we'll do is i don't know when we haven't really hammered out the when yet but we will gather all the applicants that we like and and i'll be blunt we're gonna filter some out stuff like somebody's weird praise to say something in the race as we probably will not bother interviewing you but uh at some point we will have an interview process and we'll figure out who we want and we will go from there and see who we would like to use i call dibs on the back up can we both be back up it doesn't work like that someone's got to be a good cop i'll be the good cop okay yes i'll be back up yes so uh really quickly though because i'm having problems with my email um sending it out on my phone i can receive it but i can't send it out so i need you to look at my phone later you sent me like a couple messages on like how to fix it but you have no idea how hard it is trying to look at a message and then go to the actual you have no idea how many say so anyways i just have two quick emails i need to respond to oh let's not like i don't care so let me cut to the chase there were last time we talked about uh possible road trips in the future oh yes and one of them was going to Rollins the Rollins frontier person again so i have an email from Becky star just wanted to read really quickly hey lures it's true you Becky well i'll get to that hey lures my husband and i listened to the latest episode and if you ever know overnight ghost hunt thing where to become possibility you can count us in so long as it was either with enough time to arrange for me to arrange for our sub if it was midweek but on a weekend would be no problem for us till i said bite me in response to screw you thanks so Becky just let you know uh it'll probably be about a year before anything happens but if uh it does come into fruition which it probably will uh then we'll definitely count you and your husband and usual it'll i i would think it'd be on a weekend uh friday and saturday weekend and it's probably based on their window when they let people investigate it'll likely be in the summer so unless you're just like your summer school they like the special kids uh you probably won't need a sub yeah they don't start investigations at the prison until after Labor Day and it's only a short window for about two or three months up until uh after Memorial Day yeah after Memorial Day until Labor Day so just like those three months so it'll it'll happen sometime in there so we got almost a full year and we're still certain i'll have some details there's a couple of little lots and some little bumps in the road that we gotta get sorted out i'm ironing out but there'll be plenty time just because of the price of tickets to do road trip and overnight it's gonna be roughly and don't quote me in this because it may change but roughly 150 bucks and that's just to cover our costs i mean we're not making any money it's just to cover the actual cost because i've already calculated a lot of the costs and for transportation there for the cost of the venue per person and the venue itself we had to put down a two-hundred-hour deposit and then it's ten dollars per person per hour so for there for four hours it's forty dollars per person plus this deposit so you get twenty or three people and that's like two three thousand dollars right there yeah and but we will let you guys know with plenty of time just so that people have gonna range to get the tickets i mean if you're looking at you and your husband or someone and a friend that's three hundred bucks for two people that's a lot of money and so we'll have plenty of time for you guys to save up your pennies and prepare which is the perfect segue into the next email that i have from uh... tera mens and ours i hope i'm pronouncing correctly mens and ours uh... hello a quick question for you could people drive themselves to one of these sites or would you like to keep everyone together um i don't mind if you drive however the the cost of the uh the investigation will include the transportation and uh it would be easier to keep it at that cost so you're welcome to drive yourself but i think as we discussed castle i think it'd be easier just kind of keep it at the same rate yeah and that's just because quite frankly we have to rent transportation exactly we have to rent it back to people these i'd drive themselves and half the people want to come on the bus and we can't let hold the transportation we wouldn't be able to uh... flow the cost which brings up another point um the cost of that ticket when we get there is going to include a motel room for two people um if for whatever reason you're coming by yourself and you want your own room you're probably going to be required to buy two tickets to cover the cost of the room um again a lot of little details that i still need a or if you're on pay the price of the ticket just get the room on your own you can do that as well we'll figure it out we're not quite there yet as far as all the details but yeah i've researched the cost of hotel rooms i've researched the uh the cost of the venues and i've i'm still doing research in transportation and we're looking at maybe getting a bus for like 30 people that can hold you know 25 people plus some of the pog goblins some of us is the uh the wisp wisp people so yeah a lot of uh a lot of details to work out a lot of time so we'll keep you posted and having been tarrallins it is an amazing fun location it is awesome it's fun and i don't have any details on it but we're also working on possibly uh another out-of-state road trip investigation to lava hot springs um and i'll have more details as we get those together as well so there's gonna be some potential out of state investigations that should be a lot of fun um speaking of becky star i've got becky star a question that she sent to me uh probably oh several weeks ago but i just put it off because yeah i wanted to be here for the question um and so i'm gonna read this question and i just i copied pasted it so i'm gonna go all copied and pasted by the questions so here's another question on the show you guys have talked about demonic slash angry entities and how they can be difficult to remove once they've attached to a person or location you've also talked about some of the free will about the free will held by every link thing the question is since a fairly common consensus is the demonic angry entities never actually have been living things how much free will do they actually have that could affect attachments to people in places we know they feed off invitations and challenges becky there's only tykeles in here next time i see you i'm gonna slap the tykeles back this is you now this is becky i'm like i'm correcting the tykeles back here way to go she was nice enough to send you a question and now he's criticizing her she's never gonna listen to us you breaking her over the coals you're back and we're sorry email we're sorry let's listen to him castle just learned how to sign his name last week and he learned he never learned with crayons with yeah with an x we know that they feed off of invitations and challenges and that religious authority can obligate them into specific behavior but do they have any little free will or that strictly will authority anyone who has free will allows them to have i don't remember this question it's a long question i don't remember wanting to be here for this i mean not that i don't want i just i don't remember long enough here so you guys can be crap for uh thanks for you guys don't want to be here for the question what's next i said no basically becky how that works with the negative entities is basically living beings with bodies they've got precedents over the spiritual beings that do not have bodies um and so those evil entities do have a level of free will but they can only affect us to a certain level as much as we allow them to uh for instance they can influence us um they can act to an extent on the world around us but unless we will fully open ourselves up to them they can't really affect us personally um how do you know this experience that's been my experience of anything alert i'm gonna kill you i'm just i'm playing the devil's advocate here no that's just what experience is shown prove it to me i'm just kidding all right hey hey it's the scientific method i have to be able to recreate any uh it's a bad thing that i look for proof and you guys just go oh look the door closed on its own must be those go away where you got it goes no basically it's just been shown time and time again through various investigations our own uh some of those done by idler and war and other investigators uh and that's kind of the safety briefing that i try and make sure we give it every investigation and we've failed to give that in briefing a couple of times um but basically in this field you failed sometimes chunky gets going and also just kind of breaks in all your playmanship yeah fine blame in chunky usually in the front go chunky chunky chunky chunky chunky chunky um but basically that's why we tell people don't challenge things because once you challenge you basically invite it in that's part of the reason why people don't run around possessed all the time is because they can't do that to you unless you open their arms so you can do that to me and it's sounds really strange uh that people would do that but for instance if you read um i see amity girls not a very good example um oh my gosh my mind why completely blank on some of those good investigations let's look at the conjuring for instance movie the conjuring which is based off a true story what happens is those kind of entities generally will start with an infestation and they'll ratchet the pressure up so high on the family in a home that they start to kind of lose their mind essentially they get sleep deprivation you know every time they turn around they're getting scared because you know someone's levitating off the bed and whatnot um and it gets to point with family basically just the people give up uh and they just kind of say you know whatever do what you will uh is essentially kind of what it comes down to and that's what people open themselves up to possession um they can open themselves up to possession through drug and alcohol abuse where they basically uh have kind of given up their free will through or even sexual abuse or yes wow like sexual abuse on minors yeah exactly that sounds familiar yeah uh lurch is actually referring to a private investigation that i if i think i saw one here in the room it was our last night um i had to leave i couldn't join you it's funny because he drove right to the parking lot to the complex and then like went oh it was later than i thought i know and let me tell that story it's actually it's an interesting story uh as with my great here we go with another story as with our usual policy we're not going to name names or where this occurred at um i was contacted probably about a year ago by a family who had some issues going on in their home um went out to the home they had a spirit in their home and we ended up cleansing home basically getting rid of the spirit um the family was a little bit interesting the house was uh gross to say the least and it's kind of interesting that i find that a lot with a lot of these places that have real problems is there's usually an order problem or a cleanliness problem i guess is the way you put it so if you want to get rid of any bad spirits in your house clean your home in all honesty that's next to godliness yeah that's actually a very yeah a lot to be said about that thanks to funny because the first time i went there they're like oh yeah we got polluriness activity pre-gotta cliches we'll just fly off the countertop it'll look at the the heap the mountain of dishes in the sink going that's called gravity that's not a ghost that's gravity anyway the house is just disgusting and uh come find out there was a spirit there and i took uh brandy b who some people met she was at the designs building investigation a couple weeks ago and a four-year-old couple weeks ago and she ended up crossing the spirit over um anyway probably about six months later and brandy b for those who don't know her she's very feisty um she called me and said hey this client called me at my home at 3 a.m.
because he thinks they're having problems again um and she was kind of mad because i mean if you're a client of mine and you want to call me at 3 a.m. if you go into your kids bedroom and they're hovering off the bed and that's that's the reason to call you call me at 3 a.m. in fact i will tell you when it's okay to call me at 3 a.m. but if you're in a house if you need to call me at 3 a.m.
call me at 3 a.m. if you're like hey i just heard uh a disembodied voice yeah don't call it at 3 a.m. it's not going to wait till the morning if you guys see problems call me at 3 a.m. if you don't have serious problems wait till morning what else what what what what what what what what what what what what what what what hey ignore it just ignore it everyone calm down it's okay we will take a short break and you won't even know boom there it is you don't you know now just wow that was laughing for no reason oh whatever that was technical difficulties on the part of heavy yeah the middle of our old podcast is suddenly started playing castle is a never new it was a ghost it ghost didn't i'm talking about the gross house with a ghost and i hear castles and never new over the podcast i can't hear myself on the headphones or do we get my recording i can hear you i'm interested in side note did you adjust your volume on your headphones maybe on an interesting side note my wife works at this uh software development company as a administrative assistant and their theme in the office it's never new no it's uh arrested development so they actually have conference rooms named after jobe and tabas fenke and they have a room called the banana stand and there's a sign that says there's always money to banana stand and on one of the doors for tabas fenke has a pair of those daisy-doo cut off shorts yeah that's so much that's pretty cool all right back of the story now that we have that weird technical blow up castles never do um so anyway so uh don't call it 3 a.m unless there's a kind of urgency but if there's an emergency call me anyway or you can text so he basically contacts me and says come back to my house i'm still having issues and so i contacted brandy blue low and she was like hell no i'm not going to the house and like i said she's feisty and so it's one else for please brandy me come back to the house okay so you go back to the house and this has been back in june so about four months ago and when i got there um with brandy she said there was a new spirit there was a female her name was Olivia and brandy pulled me aside um she's colored b so that's not confusing b pulled me aside and said you know the spirit she's here to protect this man's little boy uh this man lives there with his wife and bluster heart she's challenged um but he said or she said he's sexually abusing this little boy and the spirit is here to protect little boy and so uh kind of a backup on this this gentleman has done a lot of investigating in his own home which i've told him numerous times not to do because he doesn't know what he's doing and has invited things and he should not um and then i kind of challenged him on that little bit and he said they had some people move in with him who were tinkering with things that they shouldn't have been as well like Ouija boards i don't know specific tarot cards um or their penises or that um funny anyway okay it's called a bishop because of the funny hat so i i i've had on your still all right story guys the story so nyan focus you know i could have told the story in half the time that you've already drawn it out okay well it's more exciting if you know the details of there anyway so that's me trying to stay awake so i i i read about you know about why you kind of say you know the spirit saying there's about sexual abuse and his homeworks and oh yeah that the people who are here may have done some things but that's been dealt with kind of thing anyway long story short i very long story i fake cleanse the house i just i didn't build the house i just no short if that spirit search protector i left the spirit there's a protector um so the other night at 2 a.m i get a phone call i was awake fortunately but i was not happy did they're having problems again um anyway i went back last night with tinnis logwhisper and uh brandy p and brandy i didn't tell her what had what be it said when we've been to the south peter she likes being called peaches i know i i struggle going back and forth with the two within names in the real name um anyway so we get to the house and i didn't tell peaches what uh what does it matter if you learned nothing i'm just joking no i'm just you have drawn this story out so long i could have told it like a fraction at a time but we're getting paid by the minute he was getting paid i'm not i'm starting to get for studio time in fact anyway so i didn't tell her what uh be it told us on the previous visit which was back in june and so she goes there's abuse going on the south i said really what kind of abuse she goes sexual abuse uh this client's basically using his two or three-year-old son um and so i actually pulled the client in called him and i'm saying can you come in here talk to me for a minute oh yeah what can i do and i basically said look i said i've had two different mediums in here talking to the spirits in your home that are protected spirits for your son and they both told me that you are sexually abusing your son and it needs to stop i can't help you i won't help you as long as this continues you need to contact your religious leader go through the proper channel so he cleared up and he looked like he'd been struck between the eyes of the two by four um it was about a guilty astiran headlight look i've ever seen in my life um after a few minutes after he kind of picked his job off the floor he gave some half-hearted denials um and we ended up leaving and the hard part that sucks about that is i know it's going on i could tell by his reaction that it's going on but with a non-verbal child how do you deal with that or report that without telling dcfs hey some mediums told me uh you know obviously because there's you can't take a medium in front of jury basically so it comes down to so that was the residential we dealt with last night um and how did we get from the story i thought we were gonna oh we did answer Becky's question so um i'm sorry your story was so long and boring i forgot where we were going with that screw you lurch okay and here's my version of the story we investigated place and we had confirmation between mediums that he was abusing his child yes and of story it's a good story you like that is like how condensed that was it stuck to the facts you know the nice thing relevant things if i want to know more i say tell me more tell me more you know i gotta say though i think him and brandy were a little bit uncomfortable because i when i i just called this guy right out there was no beating around the bush this time around i just basically said look i know you're doing this knock it off you know i have a lot of tolerance for people with different lifestyles but there's one thing that really really disturbs me and that's uh pedophilia i don't have any tolerance for that especially for someone who's you know innocent non-verbal can't defend themselves to have someone attack them and do things against their will to something that's that's pure and innocent that really upsets me a lot i don't even get with your own child too i mean i even makes it yeah that makes something that's very very bad even worse yes so anyway serious note move on yeah i enjoy that serious note it happens very rarely here well we as you know you might not want to go backless to something absolutely around i know well i haven't listened to the last one in fear okay because i listened to one two times ago and it was right what are you thinking of oh what incident we talk about event jones and i know on our last podcast we gave him a condensed answer um but let's read his questions and actually answer them specifically so question one i've always felt like i know one of light or dark entities around i always felt like it was no big deal because maybe most do i've been interested in ghost investigations especially with you in the pug of cast have or i'm afraid to go on one my reason is i feel like if i go i can recognize the types of paranormal around that maybe something will follow me home i don't want to bring it to my home where i have small children is this common for the paranormal to follow you um i think we touched on that real briefly last time can i just mention something that's the reason right there why it took me so long to get into this as well because i had a conversation with dianne probably about two years ago and uh that was my main concern is that i've always you know for the last few years i've been a fan of uh of of those you know ghost investigation tv shows and then i i used to listen to the chunk of morning shows well and i remember him saying you know you really need to be careful otherwise things will follow you home and so i had a discussion with you on the phone dianne and it was basically me kind of making sure that if i were to ever go on investigation that nothing would follow me home and i'm not worried anymore and i have to and i'm not making fun of you i seriously not my tell the story but the very first investigation we took him on was how you're going to tell the story i was going to go for it was um a silent 49 and you listen to the audio recording and everybody's saying everybody here you can't come home with me come on with me be honest with me well like for your matter woman turn on the flashlight can't come home with me just like that just like ben says right here he has a home with small kids you know i have a six a four to two-year-old and i don't want anything in my house again a lot of it's a lot of its invitation and i know we've talked about me bringing home june from from massachusetts but in a way i invited her because i acknowledged her and she thought that she thought she knew me and she thought that i knew her because i acknowledged her and so and so that was an invitation and she's not a level and she's not a level and she wasn't and then at the end of the thinking she probably would have taken steps in massachusetts to leave june in massachusetts but she didn't realize it and that was the new thing for me and since that happened now if that happens you want to not acknowledge them too if i do or feel like something's around you know just experience but you know and then i brought a gal home named lois from di with my beautiful pot that i bought it is so ugly i thought that's why the old ladies attached it's not like i was too much but that was that was an instance she didn't follow me home she came with the with the beautiful pot that i purchased and i know that i've mentioned this before too like every teapot was a frankenstein monster this is an awesome like i i wouldn't want anything malevolent in my house but uh you know having having been in the profession that i was uh where you're working with the dead i had at one point eight spirits seven or eight spirits in my home and one of them was a uh a younger man really close to my age i want to say early 30s probably like 36 35 something like that and he was in my house for the longest period of time and he wasn't causing any problems but brandy uh peaches her her grandmother that's attached to her came to my house Annie and she kind of asked everyone to leave because she knew that i was a little uncomfortable having so many spirits there in my home um you know i don't want to have spirits watch me while i go poop but uh anyways this uh this one in particular um he stayed there after everyone left and there's even christmas photos where you can see orbs and it's it's him i want to say his name is jay it was yeah but he had he had dreadlocks that came down to about his shoulder and he died in a motorcycle accident where he was making left-hand turn and a uh a truck ran a red light and hit him and we had a beautiful memorial service for him where they actually brought harley davinson's into the chapel had all of his artwork set up i mean it was really incredible and i really feel like you know when that memorial service took place i had to kind of give myself a pat on the back because the family was proud with way turned out i felt really good about it and i think that's kind of why he might have taken a little bit of liking to news because uh i i had and i'm not trying to brag i had genuine concern for the family and i really put myself in a uh empathetic sympathetic kind of place for them and help them out as much as i could and it was just a beautiful memorial service so that's all i have to say oh go ahead i was gonna say and to be honest with you van i've never had anything that i've been unaware of following home for investigation um i had however when i've been completely aware of it had things to all me home from work uh which has nothing to do with investigating it all exactly in fact i like lurch i know for a fact i've got a few spirits in my home and they're very benign they don't do anything i have no problems i'm being there but one day my little girls i've got three little girls and they start reporting saying a man in my house and it's start freaking mrs cast lines we all know there's no man in your house but i think i know that you've mentioned that more often than not places are haunted but you just don't know it right most of them are haunted and it's it's by very uh you know non-molevolent um what's the opposite of non-molevolent nice yeah very nice benign that's the word i was thinking of thank you so you are good for something castle uh benign spirits that don't want to cause any problems they're just kind of observers and they're wandering and they don't know really where to go and you know people you know sometimes they recognize people or as being someone they connect with when they're alive and think you know this would be a nice person and just kind of follow them home and so it's it's nothing that that can really hurt you a lot of times when you start seeing activity and start getting out of it and catch you off but again going again again a lot times when people start seeing activities because they've got a spirit that really is trying hard to be noticed or there's a darker entity that's exactly most spirits are benign and to be honest with you you wouldn't even know they're affected there's very few places i've been to that haven't had some sort of spirit activity there's been a handful i mean it took me it took me about 48 hours to realize that june was there then you've probably got ghosts in your house already just don't know it yeah so if you're a new listener and you're not aware or a new or listener i'm gonna talk about this for all i can i can feel spirits i'm not a medium i'm kind of like cliff notes and you're gonna say cliff notes that's my new catchphrase about because you heard me say it yeah you did it's way i describe it i'm like page numbers i'm like the i mean i can tell you my other female i can tell you you know moods kind of what they're thinking based on their moods um but i'll walk into an antique store that back at this about six months ago walked into an antique store there was me the proprietor and her husband but i could feel like 20 it was like shoulder to shoulder people in there and i'm ready to tell me that i went to an antique store and same kind of thing i'm not i'm not hardly sensitive at all but i can sense spirit energy to an extent so you're walking into an antique store and you get that i don't want to say heavy feelings it's not really heavy feeling it's just a an energy feeling one of one of castle's hobbies is anti-king but um there's you know there's spirits everywhere and oftentimes like we described you know someone might think you're interesting and follow you home but most of the time they're very benign they may say you know this person really is boring we're gonna leave i wouldn't worry about it when we were at the grist mill the first night i had a gentleman follow me around the entire night and i know we've talked about this case exactly the k-2 meter was yeah exactly the k-2 meter that i was carrying around the entire night and i switched it out with about two or three different people it was active the entire night continuous activity that in fact one time i never stopped is if you went down to the areas where dark at least we're supposed to be and the reason it was stopped because he wouldn't follow down into those areas and the second night brandy peaches was there and she said the reason why he followed me around was because i looked like someone that he knew i don't know why he followed me so if we go back to his question when you go on a ghost investigation there are steps you take um you have before and after to not let that happen the biggest things to do don't don't invite don't invite and don't challenge uh second thing is when you leave at the end of the night i like to say a prayer fact a lot of times our group will get together as a group and say just a quick prayer tell stuff in a lot of ways it can't follow you and then i like to if i still get the bg's i'll usually play like Mormon tabernacle choir or i really like your rager and so it's kind of bright happy music but you just work at me silent don't because most haven't you rager just you know together like it's so rare um okay so let's move on to the next question i'm gonna have a happy vibe and that that alone is enough to basically keep anything going every conference i just wish they'd sing you know more a little more a little respect give a little respect can you imagine the boat's covering that all right so Ben has three questions move on to question two i want to know what you think if you are actively looking for the paranormal whether debunk or prove it exists knowing that it would we detour do you do you help bring this yes because it's my new well maybe i think cast us having a stroke or something like that before i'm gonna have you read the damn you really question i want to know what you think if you're actively looking for the paranormal whether to debunk or prove it exists knowing that we each boards can be active portals do you think that looking or going on investigations is the same concept as the we're board concept as in if you look for it you will find it or inviting it because you're looking i hope that makes sense i like this person this is my biggest fear that i investigate and i am opening that type of evil entity that yeah that i'm opening that type of evil entity to come and play on the emotions and you know you have a buddy you don't want around i want to conquer fear and go and go ghosting go ghost investigating but want to ask a thriller hey hey but want to ask one ask a professional if that is something i should do or not based on how i am interpreting the above concept i'm gonna jump in here before castled us uh look at me go move um go yeah she's been gone two episodes she needs to wait no i'm answering a question sorry i just came ahead when the very first time i've been interested in going on ghost investigations for a long time and just never really had the time or opportunity um the first investigation that i went on i think was the first investigation that castled on that fort darkness and i remember the whole time just being petrified i don't know what i expected to see you know hollywood banshee's coming screaming out of the so i don't know what i'm doing if there's a man or a woman please uh please run the flash i don't follow me home just about you can uh can you say something follow me home at one point towards the end um whoever it was that was leaving the investigation asked if someone wanted to go sit in this room by themselves and i was like no i don't want to i mean now i'd be like yes or whatever yeah by myself sweet i mean it seems scary at first and but once you get into it you realize you know the more experience you have you learn it's not as scary as it may first appear the biggest fears are in your own head exactly if you can step outside of your head for a little bit then there's there's nothing to be worried about because i mean in reality you're sitting in a dark room now there is some there's some truth to seeking it out in a way that's why you don't or not seeking it out but inviting it in that's why you don't go investigate your own home unless you know what you're doing or play with weegie boards because you don't often know what you're inviting well and with the weegie boards there's another issue with that in and of itself and to move the planchette on the weegie board you have to allow an entity to actually control a portion of your body but your arms and stuff i think and that's the big exactly that's the big traffic is because by using a weegie board you're actively inviting something to use your body to move that once and that's why they're so dangerous and we've already partially opened that door you open a crack in the door to allow that in wisps is very much against weegie boards you know tarot cards um all that sort of stuff what we want to do is you know try to find evidence of paranormal and we are kind of our creed is we want to investigate what's there we know that we can bring things in by using some of the stuff we just want to investigate what might already be there and using the methods that basically the pog goblins use that we use you're not going to invite anything new in everything that's you're only going to discover what's already there um and i was going to go into a big long thing i just didn't know it was as far as you can remember though because you had a stroke as far as um you know are we inviting things in or looking for things we like like castle just said we tried to investigate what is already there um we know how we could bring things in we choose not to so it depends on the methods that you use to to contact or prove that these spirits are there now there are and i know that we've talked about like the dark investigations like zions building fort dougless versus the Benson Grissman which is like a little granny and ghost um when you go to a place like zions building or fort dougless you have to be a lot more vigilant and careful um but but again as long as you do the things that you're told to and don't do things you're told not to do you're going to be fine yeah and then like on our residential that's usually someone calling us saying hey you know this is what's going on and then we'll go and determine if they're just being you know we just watch the scaring movie and every creek is freaking us out or if there's actual evidence there that confirms you know paranormal activity and residential we don't get too far into presidential investigations are actually significantly different than a public investigation and i prefer them hand over fist a million times over until you walk into a home and you're like oh there's a demon in here and you're freaking out the owner yeah yeah i've done that once some little Catholic grandma in west valley city she had the uh the coat kitchen no i don't know what you're talking about but i don't i don't know what you did get it you did it because she was pretty pretty yeah she was freaked out before we showed up that's why we tried pacifying ghost differently yes because you gave the program a heart attack yeah you're like oh there's a demon here and she's like oh my gosh oh we we should be present that yeah we remember castle all right never forget so Ben's third question is an oral question your episode on oars was awesome thank you Ben who knows i didn't realize others could be dorris because i talked more since i was a kid i could always see oars but i feel that maybe my so-called gift maybe something everyone can see only once i see a person with a dark black or around them most i see have a bright white comfortable aura i never told anyone because i thought people think i was nuts can most people see oars also because i think i can see them maybe it's just heat radiating off people's bodies is it wise to find ways to understand them or learn how to see them work clearly i don't see oars i think most people don't see oars i know that you practice on learning how to see oars castle and you have to really focus and stare intently and creeple creepy yeah you gotta go oh at least i have to go full creeper mode yeah you do go full creeper um most people i believe can learn to see oars um if you're seeing the bright light comfortable or you're seeing i'm surprised i'm not jumping on this um she's busy texting if you're seeing i'm having a son with an issue if you're seeing that bright white kind of outline around people you're on the cusp of seeing an aura that's not actually the aura itself you have to focus a little bit harder and then you'll see the colors but the white is usually right before you see the actual aura there's no there's two different ways um you can some people see it better if someone's up against a white background other people see it better if you're up against a dark background so try both ways you know find someone that won't be creeped out if you stare at them try standing them up against a light colored wall stare at them for a while and if you're not seeing anything turn the light off stare at them up against the black the more you do it the faster and better you get and oddly enough uh some people can seem in the dark i can't seem in the dark um i don't see jack just stare at your ear castle uncomfortably for a while let's not stare castle uncomfortably for a while too late um but with storage still um as part as looking into more it can i look at you look at me castle you're creeping me down out stare silent on i'm just not gonna say anything about that's cool is he laughs i like he can't even laugh at all he's not if he's not this white at home just yet that's because of microphone already still let me keep like the mic like this throw you for nothing but he's laughing he's shaking with the ores though to be honest with you there it's a fun skill uh feel free to develop but learn it it's it can tell you live out of person because different aura colors have different personalities and from what i've studied with personalities and aura colors they're pretty dead on um heavy is a prime example actually you can google aura colors and so once you determine what color the aura is then you can google it and find out and it's it's pretty specific about what type of personality you have my horoscope is pretty accurate too now don't forget you've got your you've got kind of your personality aura which is what we're talking about and then there's six other layers so it's not a good idea but it's cool there's the personality layers my personality is yellow and it's highly intelligent so definitely very bad that's one of the funniest things i've heard all night yeah i just tell us that hefay's a red which is blunt honesty which i that's hefay to a tee and if you just let me off lurch you're what orange yeah we're both orange yeah we're orange which is leadership the anti-pius i wouldn't follow you guys into heaven yeah so at the end of that that's cool all my friends will be in hell so all right so that covers ben's questions um now i did want to cover one other thing real quick before we call it an episode um there's there's something i i want to bring up to go ahead first okay um and i want to do this on the air and i'm not gonna name names because i don't want to uh it's something that if i respond to email you don't quite get the personality when you type it out so i don't want to come across there's no sarcasm font exactly thank you they have talk us in Puerto Rico too just FYI we have talk as a name we are there was Texas like and i told you okay what would you say okay so i by the way you should always enter our contest because with the fake ghost vote contest we had so we had a lot of people in her but there was a small enough number who entered that we did the free investigation the free prime investigation and Nate alder and his wife is a Chelsea's Chelsea isn't it uh came to that investigation um and it was a private investigation i think they had a good time um but there was enough other people or small enough group of other people who entered that we decided that we were taking those who just entered on a ghost investigation it'll be a little bit more busy that's about this year thank you yes it'll be a little bit less private than the investigation that Nate went on like i just didn't use it he said it all um here at dork but we're taking everybody who entered to that one one of the uh people who entered actually sent me an email and he said that his wife had a bad feeling about going on the investigation which is completely understandable and i i'm okay with that that's 100% go with that if your wife says don't go because she's got a bad feeling don't go don't go i'm 100% comfortable with that um but he did mention that he had a concern with knowing that it was a dark location which we're going to the family tree restaurant and it is a known dark location um it's not bad i mean there's there's bad stuff there but i would rather go to the family tree than the design building exactly that's what i was thinking too absolutely you know it's gone worse you know it's gone right on a scale of one to ten i haven't been there since it's gone worse with with zine bank building being like a nine or a ten i would probably read the family tree around a seven yeah okay yeah there's more stuff there's yeah there's there's i mean there are there is some dark stuff but i i don't feel this ever-present looning darkness like i do at the at the the zine bank building or four-duckless either way family trees at dark location you know and this listener mentioned there are some things that he saw four-duckless that were not good and they're always four-duckless is a dark location i am always very busy at four-duckless putting out perverbial fires all night long there were lots last time too anyway but he also mentioned in his email uh that going to a known dark location he felt that he was uh associating with familiar spirits um and i'm actually going to read the scripture it's actually do it around me chapter 18 verse 10 and king to pass when now it comes basically i'm just going to paraphrase it basically the lord says it's an abomination if you seek out divination and chanters which is charmers wizards and crumb and search and familiar spirits and basically says it's an abomination now the familiar spirits they're talking about in that particular scripture and i just want to clarify this and this is wondering it here verses in an email because like like he said there's no sarcasm font you can't gate how a person is speaking but what they're talking about in that particular scripture is not an investigation thing it's basically going to somebody instead of relying on and i don't like it too far from religion but relying on prophets or scripture for guidance god basically doesn't want you going to on 1-800-Scikey.
Scikey friends yes and having them telling you. So in their 15 spirit guides we're going to tell you what lottery numbers to pick or you know what you should do and those are the type of familiar spirits that that is talking about there's also people who will go to mediums to talk to their great uncle who passed away or their cousin or their brother and that's where you can get in trouble with and i'm using my air quotations familiar spirits because you don't know that the spirits that they're telling you they're talking to are the spirits are telling you they're talking to so you may think you're talking to grandma but really you're talking to shedrek then dying exactly shedrek then dying and getting all kinds of bad advice that will lead you astray so i just want to clarify that with that particular listener that going to an investigation like this where you know there's dark spirits is not associated with other spirits that scripture is actually talking with regards to seeking out soussayers looking for grandma through the weebour. It kind of boils down to your intent you know are you going to go hang out and chum up and you know have a drink or two or are you going to do some paranormal research and see what you know if you can get some ebps and see if your lights will blink and blah right anyway but that investigation here's coming up in a couple weeks and so if that doesn't encourage all of you to enter the contest that we winner for his contest whatever so my question is uh how much validity do you guys put into um the sp7 like when you get a get a response i know evps or evps you know when you're listening to a playback and it's silent and you hear this voice answer you intelligently you're like okay that is definitely something but it seems like sp7 spirit boxes are kind of open for interpretation like you could be asking a question and you hear or oh they just said yeah how many spirits are there and you got like one person saying oh they said 14 another person's like oh they said two yeah okay here's the reason why i asked this is because uh i know that we were going to talk about the uh designs building investigation there was uh an experience that i had chunk was there we were in the room where marcus resides which is just off to the left of the entrance and at one point um we had about four other people with us at one point i just started speaking german and he had the sp7 spirit box going i think i was and he responded very clearly you could hear uh zegut which means very good but before back was not going but that was science science bank it was designed it was so your german responses that yeah but i i spoke German both nights at both those locations but listening to listening to that audio playback that i have i can hear before he says they're good i can hear octon which means like caution be careful so i'm just wondering how much validity do you guys put into the responses that you get through the sp7 you know it's interesting you say that because i was actually earlier today listening i started the fourth i was audio today uh from the fourth i was investigation um and i think it was actually you lurch um i was cruising around uh with i had brandy be with me and she said there's a little boy in the main building area um and i think it was you told me that you guys have been carrying a little boys voice on sp7 yeah that was another yeah i'll tell you the story go ahead and brandy had told me before we've walked in where you were at that his name was david the little boy's name was david yep um and we went in there at you guys asked what was the name because you guys had gotten david on that that's exactly right we were using the sp7 and we kept getting the the names michael and david one was an older man and one was a younger child's voice and so when brandy came in we said you know we're we're getting two different voices and she said david and michael and we're like look at each other yeah exactly it was david and michael and she she confirmed one of the other uh guests that was with us kind of got the assumption that it was a father and son and without saying that brandy said it's it's a father and son so she confirmed what we had already kind of gathered using the sp7 and actually got an evp of the of david um it's just a little side you guys want to hear that really quick sure i know we're running out of time but let's play this evp well you're looking for that i'll just throw my two yeah please um i i think that you can get valid answers to the spirit box however based on other things and just the personal feeling i get i mean just my personal feelings they give me the heebie gb's and i think it's kind of like a verbal wegibord and that it can invite other things exactly and i prefer not to use them and even when someone else is using them like i've been on i know the pod goppling to like him and i'll stay for a minute it's kind of like instant gratification i can say i'll do my public investigations yeah i just i don't like them i think it may be the heebie gb well i'm kind of a magnet to that kind of stuff so it doesn't bother me that much um but there are times when you'll turn on the sp7 and it's scanning through the channels and you don't hear a single voice and you'll ask a question and you'll get a very clear intelligent response that's over like five or six stations on a one to ten scales for our so much validity do i give it i would say six point five because and the other three point five is that stuff that's really open to interpretation um i give evps considerably more weight than i do that's how i feel but i've seen enough instances like you guys had and when we were at Benson griss mill we were down where they said that dark identity was at uh yeah uni we were getting all kinds of crystal clear f u profanity yep um and i mean it was there was exactly what i was exactly i was like you have moments with sp7 where you get very clear and concise intelligent answers but there's also times where it's like gosh river oh they just said that you know there's there's a you know insert your own response there you get like ten different people you know ten different responses to the listen to the evp i'm sitting on a really hard chair al i'm done i'm sorry i can't hear you over the belly aching the whining that's your fault there's all kinds of soft computer to the room in fact that's where i'm sitting and i moved it all right so this is uh right where you guys said you're talking to david and this evp what you're going to hear is you're going to hear changa uh we're changing batteries in chungas millmeter because it was acting really weird um but chunga goes i don't usually sweat but i'm sweating profusely and i said you know i am too actually and i don't really sweat either but you're gonna hear like a little boy he's a boy you're here kind of a sigh don't give me the okay seriously a sigh that's what you got i'm sorry but okay listen oh my lanta listen to evp just listen to me can you tell that it's a little child saying to it that sounds like actually yes here it is where we're ready uh all right here's that evp you're bastard sweating profusely though me too sweating profusely though me too sweating profusely though me too how do we get down i hate you guys i can't know i've got okay i have a theory about that one castle tends to have kind of a girly voice a little boy voice do not here it is you ready just putting profusely that was definitely a little boy sigh i won't disagree with that and i'm not gonna lie i'm with you castle that's probably not the most awesome maybe people ever got but it's definitely class a as far as the volume level goes it's not one of those you could get it's b was there that night and that was during the uh the welcome you know when everyone's gathered around chunk was talking and you're staying up there with them and just going over some of the uh the basics and i remember b was kind of off to my left a little bit just kept like saying there's a little boy walking around here and at one point he came over to be here in me and um and in the navy room where we started my group started their investigation was just off to that room as well so it makes sense that he followed us down there and michael and david were talking to us but i mean i i believe that but yeah it is kind of a crappy evp thanks castle i know there's a highlight of the evp you know speaking of which and i know that we're like i said we're running close to well we've got to run this already not really but um we did actually did two private investigations last night um and the other private investigation we did i heard three very audible uh whispers i heard two and three i didn't hear the first one one was like it was like right in my right ear but it was a man's voice and that's what the homeowner said that he's had happened in the basement too is where he's had someone talk right behind him he's turned around thinking that maybe it was his wife or something and no one's there yeah and so that i had three very loud audible whispers last night and in the zyan's building we had several of those um in fact at one point i was down the basement by hansen and we heard it was almost a beechial what kind of a really weird town conyers has an awesome evp of a growl that he got a few uh a few months ago i think and tim conyers is you know for those that don't know he's the the caretaker of the building caretaker fight the best term so he's uh yeah he's there all the time goes there by himself which is crazy and brings his recorder gets some amazing evps when he's there by himself yeah that's one right i don't know if i would for from a safety standpoint that's one where i think i i would be okay being in the building with somebody like on a floor by myself but i don't want to be in the entire bill that's just in my opinion it's a safety issue right but i love the announcement i'm making more of a commitment to listen to my audio so i'm starting to work through the many many back arrows of audio that i have and uh so i should have some of these no i'll put those aside and i'll only keep the good ones and by the way uh i when i listen to audio i try to keep myself in your tank because i was kind of boring and so i make plastic tanks and scale model tanks i color i post
