Episode 16: Believe In Yourself

from Empowered in Health · host Erin Trier

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to watch the LA Marathon and my youngest sister completely crush her goal of completing it. I am one PROUD big sister and was vividly reminded of the power of believing in yourself while watching so many run the race. When I decided to go watch her a little over 3 weeks ago - I also registered for the 5K race. Going out of town, spending the money, renting the car, getting the hotel, registering for the race, doing all the things - all on my own - with no one to rely on and no one relying on me - was a gift I needed to give myself (more so than I even realized). It can be so easy to forget how hard we work every day, Mama. We do hard things day in and day out - and we were meant to do whatever our hearts desire. Sometimes - it takes that little, added push of perspective, outside of our comfort zones, to instill belief again on a deeper level and help us remember that we are capable of doing anything we set our minds to! I would be honored if you shared this episode with others in your network. I'd also love to hear from you too and connect further on our stories.
