He has always been working from the perspective of helping others and is a true servant leader.How did you get your start in Real Estate?Matt has a 25 plus year background in construction and civil engineering and construction management. After a long career operating equipment and his body feeling the effects of his work, he decided to transition into real estate. He got mentored by his Mom and business partner Jo Jensen. Matt exceled in his first year closing over 20 transactions and never looked back. His background in construction gives him a unique perspective on the potential of properties and it has really served him and his clients well in helping trouble shoot property potential for his sellers and his buyers.Thoughts on the Market?The market is a great time to buy right now. Inventory is still really low and right now there is not a whole lot of competition for offers on homes. Matt recommends that if you are a buyer sitting on the fence, act now before the market becomes too competitive again. You can always refinance later on when rates come back down. Giving BackMatt and Jo have created a scholarship fund for people who have been incarcerated and rehabilitated to get a degree at University of WA to be able to be a productive member of society. One client comes to mind who went from being in the system to getting rehabilitation and help and turning his life around to now serving those who are going through a similar challenge. He has now been deputized by the state of WA as an advocate for post prison education and placement. Also Matt has since helped him buy multiple homes so he is growing wealth through real estate investing.Q&A SessionMatt and his wife Stephanie have a Chessie named Bjorn and a Maltese named Jesus Christ Superstar. Jesus got out and wears a diaper and Matt was running after his dog yelling “Jesus, where are you? Has anyone seen Jesus?
