Episode 16 – Enigma

 When the family go away you ask them to bring you something back and well that’s exactly what SG1 did when visiting a world which they find on the brink of destruction. A number of survivors are found surrounding the gate and are taken to Earth but they are not that grateful and have  their own Star Trek type prime directive. They see the SGC and Earth in general as primitive and technology and knowledge can not be shared which brings out Colonel Maybourne (boo hiss) who would never let compassion get in the way of getting what he wants. This is the Tollans first appearance in the show and with it we see the arrogance of the superior race from Omoc but the openness from Narim which bodes well for the future. Guest appearances from Lya (NOX) and Tuplo (Broca Divide) are welcome nods to continuity and Sams attempts at a love life fall a little short and well the theme is set for her romances:) The post Episode 16 – Enigma appeared first on Gatecast.
