Episode 16: Is Delaying a Denial? - Interview with Teresa King

from Dream to Rise · host Cynthia Encinas-Concordia

How would you feel if your goals are still kept a fantasy and unable to achieve them?  Do you feel frustrated?  Unmotivated? Most of the time, we just quit and move to another goal whenever you experience struggles.  Why do they quit?  Because they don't want to experience pain, hardships and would prefer to stay within their comfort zone.  Going through the struggles, which include fear, will make you the person you want to become - full of confidence, growth mindset, positivity and more fulfilled. Teresa King will share with us how she was focusing on her business that is doing very well, then suddenly her son got shot.  Fortunately, her son survived but is now paralyzed from waist down.  I truly understand how it feels for a mother to experience such trauma, especially if it involves their children.  But what did she do that made her view life in a positive way? All her business plans had to pause for a while so she can focus more on her son.  According to her, "A delay is not a denial.  Don't ever think that you cannot manifest whatever the universe has planned for you.  You can!  You may have to pivot your life a little bit.  But don't ever quit!" May I ask you .  Do you quit easily?  Do you consider it as an option?
