Jared Reston is a 20 year retired officer from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in Florida. Reston now runs the Reston Training group which provides rifle and pistol training to all aspects of Law Enforcement. On January 26th, 2008, he was involved in a gunfight for his life that ended with shot seven times which include, three in the body armor that would have killed him if not for his vest, and one directly in his jaw.
