Episode 16: Marriage Series, Abigail's Marriage to Nabal

Abigail's marriage to Nabal gives us a great illustration of a Godly wife's integrity and sense of her identity in the Lord regardless of their husband's transgression. In a way, Abigail's situation might not be as extreme as Hosea's but she too remains faithful to God first and foremost and to her husband, modeling true submission (i.e. lifting up) and living out her role as Nabal's helper (i.e. paraclete) in a very inspiring way.
