In Episode #16 of the Mindful Life Podcast I take listeners through one of my kids meditations, from my weekly kids mindfulness sessions. This one is a visualisation. The kids are very switched on when is comes to visualising, kids really do have a fantastic imagination. Visualisation is a perfect mindfulness strategy and an easily accessible tool that they can use at any time. In this particular meditation we use color to name and manage difficult emotions and color to visualise peace and relaxation and I also encourage the kids to hold a calming crystal.
