together it's pretty pretty awesome well awestruck so awesome um charity but hi what have you been up to oh you know live in the dream five seven five seven uh no i just been uh thinking about this every single day of my life um talking about it my mom my mom the other day she was like so dungeons and drags yeah we're at the coffee table and i was like tom hanks yes she goes there is dragons in it my mom loves dragons it's only because she watches game of thrones and i was like uh yeah there's uh there's dragons in it and she was like all right and that was the end of that conversation so i think she's accepted it now validate yeah no i mean that's an important part it's literally in the name it's literally in the name um dungeons and no drags yeah dungeons and the absence of dragons uh and lastly but not leastly tim overton hi hi tim hi hi hi all right let's go all right uh what you've been up to though your life is not in my hair ready it took a long time actually it's been crazy um i just got into grad school thank you it's been a i got accepted last monday and class started at bird uh go monday for last and last monday i had my first class so i uh i'm missing grad school right now i'm gonna say the class my first class pro pedagogy adaboy b here but it's all good just don't share the stream with her and everything will be fine okay great i love you guys too perfect shit his name is john and paul did all this thing and he hooked us up with these dope ass character sheets or these character art pieces for like all all of us all the NPCs everything and i was like yo you know what super bogus paul doesn't have one right so i reached out to john and i was like and we have we all got on a conference call we got this call um and so like we went back and forth for a couple weeks about like what we wanted paul to look like oh god we it's i think it's cute um but here you are whoa cool so this is dutch master paul and there's some really cool stuff here so uh i really wanted all of the podcasts because you every time you show up to one of our sessions you've got like backpack on the back strap bag and then you're like oh i fuck a lot i love when in the car and so you're just like strapped and so we i wanted these to look like they're your weapons um because like we have all of our weapons uh so this is you man and he used the yellow like you gave him yeah and in the yellow it's in there um cool i made sure that davry was front and center piece my boy i love that dork and you you've got the d20 that's in your car yeah thank you guys oh we love you paul i love you guys too thanks get it get in on that jordan up higher how's that perfect see it that's sweet thanks you guys are great this is cool he said us a bunch of other shit but we can go over it later yeah we'll do that later yeah oh okay okay we got that out of the way all right i didn't cry i'm sure there are four hours or so left uh in the evening so um thank you all very much that's very sweet um all i've been doing is getting ready for the show so that's uh i think we've talked enough so let's let's get into the shiz show this isn't seven minutes long we don't have a long intro one time we basically talked about nothing right you sure you don't want to do that again yeah okay okay so there's there's a lot of people that uh have stuck with us throughout the entire course of our game and to them my hat's off to you thank you guys thank you very much uh but there are several people including especially my parents and my wife who uh like what i do but don't follow it in the same way right because they have they have jobs that require their full attention and uh i want to go to i have a little intro piece prepared that will kind of bring everyone together and get us ready to start so uh let's do this our story begins like any story in any world in any time would with a few friends down on their look looking for work we follow a group of adventurers with the guild designation cadre 11a or nella the human noble battle axe wielding fighter and hardback thunder fist the sweet dwarven cleric of nature both decided to take on a job investigating a disturbance in the sewers uncovering a cult worshipping a demon named the beguiler i got that sound effect don't you worry this cult led them all over the kingdom and eventually ending up eddy noble fancy string fancy music type ball gala event uh it's at the party that they failed to protect the prince from a shapeshifting assassin and or nella's father framed them for the murder sentance to exile our party ended up in a prison known as morsenck it is there that they met our third companion orzok the bara boondi barbarian who was betrayed and sentance to life into the abyss hashtag alliteration making their escape with the help of their new barbarian friends cadre 11a found themselves fugitives on the run searching for answers as to why the prince was assassinated discovering a blot by none other than verin toid who plans to summon a demon lord of lies secrets and betrayal named gargantiloff it's not googoloff you gotta say it right it's not that you gotta say it right we're not moving on till you say it right it's gargantiloff gargantiloff gargantiloff close enough in their quest to gather forces to stop toid friends have been lost and companions like the full davory have been gained bajre 11a traveled across the continent to find those sympathetic to their cause of stopping is demonic invasion now we find the party outside the captive city of alal having forged an alliance of southern tribes featuring the toasterick and bara boondi alongside vicount fell in his army of lion breakers they meet now in the queen's wood overlooking the capital city all right party orzok ornella harbeck you find yourself standing side by side one more time overlooking an old city smoke plumes billow up from its center coalescing and concentrating into a tall pillar of smoke from the peering up into the sky you see at the front gates an army is beginning to form of broken and tattered banners blackened armor you see misshapen visages of crab preachers for those that don't know crab preachers are basically crabs their half crab and their half creature got it great they're the worst they're the worst they're these big gnarly hulking the vaguely humanoid creatures with thick kite and carapace armor big claws and googly eyes and tentacles in their mouths that will tentacle charity probably there's nothing weird totally well so you see so you see all of that gathered before you uh concentrating at the front of the city it's just you three what do you do that looks like a lot we can handle it oh yeah no totally yeah i was just thinking you know if we wanted to uh back out now would be the time don't do that orzok are the men ready they're ready but i can't see that where through the smoke i can't see what our ultimate target is where is the where is the seed of the queen don't worry about it i'll take us there just follow my lead okay ah shit oh hey you hear the stumbling buffooning sound of davery coming up behind you he's carrying in his hands uh triangular cut sandwiches i got sandwiches before we go i like the crusts cut off yeah no i i i kind of they're lovely thank you debry yeah yes thank you debry we can bring down a demon lord on an empty stomach that's right yeah okay is that all of them and you see debry's eyes just lock on the the army that's forming down below in these there's a there's a pretty long and wide open plane that sits between the walls of the city and the woods that you guys find yourselves in it's probably uh like seven to eight hundred yards away and you you just see like these black specks begin working their way out of the front gates forming up in ranks orzok you guess their numbers close to 10 12 000 men and grab preachers well we need to talk to my count fell to understand his approach breaking the line so that we can take our small group into the city all right takari will make quick work of those walls but we'll need to get there safely so uh davery kind of kind of look at debry snaps again to do that yeah oh yeah sorry you want me to take the sandwich plate so you can do the things that are important yes important yeah yeah and he hands over the small tray of triangular cut sandwiches and he says who wait who am i vikon we just bring vikon fell to us please yeah yeah okay i just need it and he's awkwardly trying to like get around ornella okay just okay just if you just i'll stop and then you go okay i just if i could scoot all right if we just move on three one two three okay went the same way so far back and i kind of look at each other and we just kind of just move so there's as much actual space as possible there's a there's a weird look passes between devry and ornella and devry walks away presumably to go fetch vikon fell what's in here perfect you hear the sound of drums begin to beat in slow marching rhythm from down below oh hell they know we're here i hope so we uh so if there's not anything else we can fast forward to vikon fell coming over so vikon fell on demigryph back which for those uninitiated as to what a demigryph is they don't fly they don't fly thank you wow that was i was gonna fly okay tip my hat to you male um kitchen on so uh i'll top demigryph back in his uh deep aquamarine blue armor plate mail uh a stride walks with all the regalness of one of his station and he approaches you three and he he says the preparations have been made how are we getting inside there is a group of guild members that have come from bug molly that will clear a path for you the guild they've sent 12 warriors here well in fact i was hoping that you would be able to meet them before this i thought we were alone no it turns out there are those that have seen this and agree that this is cause we're fighting for great well i'll meet with them right away good our back shuts off so you go to meet with the guild members uh vikon fell uh turns the demigryph a little bit and they're just uh him and the demigryph are just staring out onto this open field this killing field that it will be in just a few minutes and uh stands and well i mean they're not they're not going to hug right now we're ripping um yeah we're about to rip yeah we're about to rip yeah so uh we'll cut over to harbeck then so so we see uh harbeck you walk over uh a camp has been formed inside the woods there's there's tents and cookfires and you can see the flag of the guild flying over a small conglomeration of tents harbeck pauses to just look at the flag thinks to himself like you thought you would never see that again you uh you see there's several people standing there sharpening blades uh just moving through uh their their wizard tomes and doing all sorts of preparation for the coming fight hey old hill uh a human bard walks over to you and he as he approaches he does a kurt bow um uh my name is jennis um oh hell i hate it i hail yeah i hail from sif um it's a pleasure harbeck you are uh well lots of people i've talked about you uh harbeck is immediately pleased with himself um the the others are gathering their things now so uh we're ready to move when you are thank you all for being here he but is it too weird i think it's great no it's a little weird oh on it don't worry we got a few NPCs to go uh dennis turns to the gathered uh guild members uh god he's get over here it's harbeck the first one to approach is a half elf druid uh she looks vaguely hippie-ish she has flowers uh i don't know what you're talking about play a little more maybe so i don't know if you've have you seen footage of woodstock i would uh yum pay sure yeah no so this uh half elf uh woman druid approaches her flowers in her hair she's got a elegant green dress made of ivy and plant matter ramsi rub rooster it's a pleasure harbeck sorry one more time ramsi rook rooster oh that's what i thought she said it's a pleasure to meet you so it's a pleasure it's a one that worships nature as well actually um i've been meaning to tell you i'm actually in the tempest domain you know lightning and thunder you can just do that you can just switch well i was in the life domain and then that god was sacrificed and i met a cooler new god and he takes care of me well you can switch you can totally switch i can and you can just leave yeah i mean you look good green so do you oh well i think any of you can watch this stuff she extends uh she extends a a dainty smooth hand and uh a pleasure to meet you then harbeck oh harbeck like white soft his hand and i can get some pleasure his sausage he hand like sausage he how sausage he like jim beaned like few links hand and a long sword in the other emblazoned on the front of the shield is a son and he he's a red scale uh dragonborn and he comes up to you and uh he says harbeck is a pleasure to see one such as you famous from the guild where one's infamous we sound dawphillic similar sort of i'll try to lean more into the sweetest Scottish thing i'm doing good your tales besee follow they precede you they what now nothing it's good to meet a hero of the guild it's a pleasure to meet you as well i hope we can do our best to clear a path for you so they make safe entry into the city i want you to know that you'll be in here means the world and i honestly expected to be alone the guild was in my mind hollow it's nice to see that there's good hardwood underneath i am argin and it is my pleasure to be that wood and extends a clawed hand to shake your hand how sausagey medium okay he he gives a curve out in terms to leave another paladin approaches he is very very attractive sort of like Gaston from beauty and the beast can we say beauty and the beast well Disney shut this down you just did oh okay perfect so it's like you know that movie where that girl falls in love with a giant minotaur and it's totally okay booty booty and the beast booty and the breeze yeah booty and the that is a different movie booty and the priest is a different movie it's called doubt stars phillips and more often um looking at this man just he has to just leave the tent right now harbeck steps outside really quickly and harbeck has a moment of not jeez i didn't know meeting all these people before they're probably going to die i mean we really need to introduce all 12 and then a little voice in harbeck's head says harbeck they gave you all of the funds and the resources to do what it is you're doing so first dwarf you've seen for over a year because the last dwarf turned out it was a prince killer so so the next one is a is a dwarf oh snap uh he's got a mandolin on his back he's very he's got a cool mustache that kind of does oh weird it looks like this yeah weird okay i mean what's what's one person's creepy is another person's very sexually attractive which is why it's creepy looks at wife life taught me a lot of things or zach and i wouldn't be able to be here if it wasn't for you or zach you taught me what it means to be a warrior having balanced and and drive and passion you've taught me to to fight for those that i love whether they're my family or not orzak you've taught me the importance of telling my story i think most importantly orzak you've taught me that sometimes it's okay to soften my edge i just wanted to to tell you that before whatever happens that happens orzak just kind of looks at vanilla for a moment and just kind of steps to the cider and just kind of puts around out i i think so yes the guild is ready to help us get past the lines we'll be able to get through with their help well then i guess we better prepare ourselves this is it friends so do we see uh like a cool montage of you guys strapping on like nah no i'm just about to do the rainbow uh just get nah nah no we do that yeah all right each of you gets your own little montage plug what does it look like you get a couple frames of like headband or like what does it look like so mine looks like i'm about it's like you see some hands doing something and it looks like it's tying on a on a headband kind of rambos valve is the camera pulls back it's clearly tying on a loincloth yeah awesome and yeah use this double knotting oh good just in case this is battle right this is battle uh so yeah and use this opportunity to describe like at the end of the montage what your character looks like for us so freshly tied on new loincloth got rid of the ole and more saying it was a little i set it down it stood up in a corner we see like flies start to like buzz around it jesus boy all right so new loincloth uh kind of doing some like traditional kind of war paints on the body and stuff and then i take the the crown of the scale the crown of scale yeah the crown of scale and put it on my head and then what does it look like um well i wish i had we have a visual medium here but it's it's kind of like a serpent's uh skull where it comes over the top but then the jaw line comes up here so the fangs are up here and then the top teeth are here um and so the eyes are going to be back here perfect so yeah loincloth skull on the head and what what weapon do you carry into battle i've got the the new daris which is some sort of uh it's a kind of a versatile weapon where it's a spear but i can i can activate a blade that comes out of it i can wield it with one hand or two hands nice and most of the trip i've spent like jumping around instantly with it so yeah it's yeah it's it's i mean it's it's called a sword spear and it's this long like um almost uh it is like a sword spear uh patent pending yeah well actually darceles did it first but that's not a big deal or we did it but yeah it's this long uh it's got this long halft right and at the end you can slam it on the ground in this uh energy blade that uh shimmers into an actual metal blade shoots out on the end it's up as long as a short sword right so so it's uh pretty cool it's first of all it's got reach it's uh it's a pretty cool weapon yeah it's pretty rapid jumping around like stuff spinning it stuff yeah doing gun cada yes i've been doing i've been doing the movie equal everywhere everywhere i go perfect these references working for people it's that just me honestly yeah it's for us yeah that's that's little us that's okay it's okay um or Nella what is your montage look like sure uh so or Nella uh i think growing up the way that Nella has grown up she's watched a lot of uh like the teal guard like get have this similar moment of like gearing up for whatever they're about to do um and so kind of instinctively she kind of falls into like a very militaristic um way of getting herself together uh like just making sure she like triple checks everything straps and buttoned and tipped and everything whatever needs to be clasped is clasped um but she's got her big long braid um and instead of and she's shit i don't know she just makes sure she looks like ready right yeah your armor like you got so you got this matte black plate male yes on the shoulder pauldrons or big uh uh uh spine hunter yeah there it is yeah there it is coming off of her shoulders which are rad as fuck yeah it's the coolest thing um yeah matte black armor heavy blade and you got a cool cool helmet and a sweet axe and a sweet axe it looks like a sunburst um but it's gonna flop some domes real good so it's gonna what domes flop th w o m p swan yeah google out it's not a word no um oh i'm sorry we're playing dungeons and dragons gargatuloff gargatuloff gargatuloff gargatuloff gargatuloff gargatuloff gargatuloff gargatuloff that's a word davory oh don't davory's a great name i'm naming my son davory wife shakespeare i do love the name the entire room shakespeare yeah appropriate and uh lastly we cut over to harbeck so harbeck dress us up in his new suit of armor gifted last episode beautiful silver armor and he picks up his morning star beautiful new morning star and then he adorns himself with the crown of flowers that or an element for him just like these and then harbeck meals with his two symbols the acorn in amber and the carving of the goddess from the god wood and makes a small prayer to bollarot says bollarot here might be this day or the other days i think i'm going to die didn't mean to laugh at that sorry protect those around me as i protect them we uh we hear cliff's voice that i'm not going to do but i'm just gonna talk and you're all gonna imagine that clifton antuana speaking you got it dude harbeck smiles to himself brings himself off his knees puts the tux the symbol on his necklaces into his armor and then he picks up his hand axe and begins walking to where he thinks the rest are and he finds a tree in the area and he buries the hand axe into the side of the tree and just carries the morning star with him rad so we we get this this camera angle of you uh of the the tree in the foreground with the axe silhouetted out and you begin to disappear into the background and far far in the distance we see this uh swarming black shape of the uh the demon army gathering at the front gates we cut over we do a cut directly to califel the vicount who's on demigroof back who is um we get a shot like a close up on him of just like the side of his face we see him staring out into possibly where he will die out in the battlefield in front of the city of alal the city that he has a vicount have sworn to protect and the the uh what do you call like a queen the queen dumb that he swore fealty to he is now facing the choice of having to turn his back on all that for the good of everyone else the camera pulls back further and then we see next to him in perfect formation are the line breakers warhorses in bright aquamarine armor on their fronts and mains standing at perfect attention the nights atop their back carry lances at perfect 90 degrees straight up along the line behind them the camera zooms back even further and we see the behind the line breakers themselves are the uh the freemen that choose to follow the vicount from the city of jury carrying uh hand me down weapons like spears and crappy uh busted shortswords and old wooden shields with parts broken out of them the camera pans 180 degrees and we see the opposite side of the vicount and we see scale mother scale mother orzox well the x scale mother now just a former formerly known as the scale mother now a totem warrior atop a tikari a lizard uh a lizard mount that looks like a cross between an iguana and a monitor lizard it's got long rending claws at the front and thick thick like th Icc thick muscly legs to help propel the tikari in lunging attacks we see the scale mother atop her own excuse me we see totem warrior oana maka atop her tikari and down to her left in a less precise formation are the other totem warriors from orzox clan the baribundi they uh they are doing finishing touches putting war paint on their foreheads and under their cheeks they're adjusting uh bone helmets and a uh they they all carry these wicked like bone weapons and swords and daggers that they are placing in belts and holsters and we zoom we zoom further back then to see the final elements of the army the uh toasterich knight sheaf which are these sprinters basically they're in entirely black almost like unitards like like skin-tight suits that have these uh like material like uh yeah wings are like fabric but basically like a wingsuit. Yeah. Membranes they got they got flaps they got flaps. They got flaps.

Long man brains. So the the night the night she uh adjusts their uh blackens matte black swords and daggers on their belts. They have those like yeah the wrist guys. Yeah and we see a couple of them adjusting they have collapsible wrist mounted crossbows that they adjust the tension.
We see them adjust the tension on itself. One of the bow strings and and pull a lever and they both they like retract into the wrist and the camera pans back all the way around and we see Arbak, Davery, Ornela and Orzak on Takari back amongst all of this gathered force of the alliance that they have made over the course of 15 episodes of a D&D campaign. The camera comes in tight onto um it comes in tight on it goes to Viscount Fell and he kind of appears into the foreground it sharpens focus and we see him a profile and he turns to Ornela and he says Ornela we are here to do what needs to be done I think if you would address the men and women and tell them what it is they're here to fight for hearing it from you would bold in their spirits. Me.
He shakes his head yes. Ornela takes her Takari and in the still in the formation she just turns in the round so now her back is too all but her front is to all the people. We're here to we're here to fight for us and for the good that is still left in this world she straightens up on her Takari a little bit I am not afraid to die for this cause and none of you should either and remember whatever happens we're together now look around at all of whatever happens we are united. There's a couple quick camera shots of all of the different groups that we just mentioned the line breakers the milk the freeman the bear boondie the toast Rick guild guild yes with banners flying high and then it cuts back over to you Ornela.
