Gary sits down with Boston-born actress, writer, and director Sharisse Zeroonian — and this one is a little different. Because while Sharisse loves acting, she'll be the first to tell you she's even more addicted to writing and filmmaking. And at her age, the body of work she's already built is genuinely impressive.Born and raised in the Boston area, Sharisse has written, directed, and starred in multiple projects entirely on her own terms. Her feature film The Mouse in the Bread — an experimental drama exploring how a family's dynamic shifts after one member commits a crime — ran on Amazon Prime and earned her critical recognition. Her short film Well Water was a semi-finalist at the Los Angeles Cinefest. She created, wrote, and directed the semi-autobiographical series One Plus One Is Two and the comedic series Sandbox Police, following three recent college grads navigating the awkwardness of early adult life.
