Episode 16: The Nurtured Heart Approach Education, Parenting, and Life

from Shine: Inspired Jewish Women Podcast · host Eve Levy

Aviel Brodkin has learnt through her own struggles in her parenting and through being a Jewish day school principal for the past ten years how to nurture and support children best. Listen in as Aviel tells us about the approach she uses, called The Nurtured Heart Approach, that has transformed her personal and work relationships, and pretty much transformed her life! Aviel is a passionate teacher of Torah, synthesizing Jewish wisdom with strategies for navigating parenting and marriage. She is known for her empowering parenting workshops and personal coaching as Rebbetzin of Congregation Kesser Israel. Aviel's educational background is in speech and language development, educational leadership, and is a Nurtured Heart Approach trainer. She has taught in Jerusalem seminaries, mentored converts, provided pre-marriage counseling but she fell in love with elementary education when she first walked into the third grade classroom back in 2003. Her greatest sense of joy is helping people recognize their inner potential and make meaningful steps to living a fulfilling life.  Connect with Aviel at: [email protected]
