Episode 160 - Collier Calls Out Englebert and Sanders Keeps His Silence and Smile
from In The Zone With Anthony · host Anthony Smith
Napheesa Collier rips Kathy Englebert saying the WNBA has the best athletes in the world, the best fans in the world and "the worst leadership" in the world based on comments the commissioner made behind closed doors saying when asked in a meeting in February to discuss how the commissioner planned to address the officiating issues. The five-time All-Star says Englebert told her "that only losers complain about refs." Collier also asked Englebert about increasing the value of rookie-scale contracts with the current CBA set to expire in October and the likes of Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Paige Bueckers driving so much revenue for the WNBA. "Caitlin should be grateful she makes $16 million off the court because without the platform the WNBA gives her, she wouldn't make anything," Collier said of Englebert's response. In other news Shedeur Sanders will remain as the Browns' No. 3 QB as Cleveland is set to take on Minnesota on Sunday in London, while Dillon Gabriel moves into the starting role and Joe Flacco serves as his top backup.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/in-the-zone-with-anthony--4399324/support.
