And as soon as the paint dried on the news of AppleVis shutting down, Orcam while not publicly, but it has been announced that Orcam will halt development of visual aides.   Switching from dying products to new products, would you wear an always listening A.I. pendent?   We then discuss Google pulling their Gemini A.I. ad from the Olympics after the backlash it received.   In our favorite story for this episode, Epic's Tim Sweeney is blasting Apple's Find My for actually tracking the thief who stole his MacBook. Say what!   Logitech wants to sell you one more mouse for the rest of your life, but they also want you to pay a subscription for it! What, again!   Siri supposedly seems to get better in iOS 18.1, but does it really? Allison has been running iOS 18.1 and gives us her opinions of how things are running so far. We then discuss everything Apple Intelligence can and can't do in iOS 18.1. It ends up iOS 18 could be the safest way to use ChatGPT. And will this whole partnership with ChatGPT blow up in Apple's privacy face? We then talk about the new feature coming to iOS 18 called reduced interruptions for notifications. And would you like to unlock your iPhone with your heartbeat? Apple once thought of it.   So the whole CrowdStrike thing happened in between us recording, and now we have all heard of CrowdStrike. Delta's CEO question if this sort of crash could ever happen on the Mac? This leads to Allison telling us about all the fun of traveling on International CrowdStrike Day, and the fun that ensued from all of it. We then find out all about Allison's cruise.
