Episode 160 - Made Himself of No Reputation

We live in a world that encourages us to build our reputation.To protect our image.To make sure our accomplishments are noticed.Many people spend a great deal of energy trying to establish their importance.Yet when Paul describes Jesus Christ, he presents a completely different picture.The eternal Son of God did not come seeking recognition.He didn’t demand honor.He didn’t insist upon His rights.Instead, He chose the path of humility.A path that would eventually lead Him to a manger,to a cross,and ultimately to the salvation of the world.And in that humility, we discover the heart of God.
