The views on the breath of fresh air podcast reflects the parties involved. I mean, encourage you all to use it as a conversational tool that will lead to personal studies of your own. Welcome to a Breath of Fresh Air podcast, here with your hosts Earl Roberts and Nikhaz Ge. As a young person, Christianity can be so foggy, like spoken of mirrors and so unclear.

But we're here to bring you a breath of fresh air. On this week's episode, we took a break from the 2nd Kings narrative to discuss some free-flowing topics. The conversation started with cultures and their religions, and it expanded to the individual journeys we all go on as Christian. Join us for this impromptu dialogue, and I hope you find it fruitful.

And as always, be blessed and enjoy. Alright, so welcome back to another episode of a Breath of Fresh Air podcast, here with your hosts. Nikhaz Ge. And Earl Roberts, the 2nd.

But, hopefully everyone had a great week. We are in person this week, naturally, as you can see. I don't even know why I said that. Well, if, you know, the people who listen for your streaming, they will know here.

That is true. I always feel the chemistry is better when we in person. But, you know, thank God for technology, because every week we ain't allowed, well, not allowed. But it's more feasible than not to record on something.

It's not like it's a view. Oh, that's a conversation. That's a conversation. Like, man, do whichever you're interested to buy, and just, like, all the arguments for Christianity and Islam, it's just, like, we can take for granted how good it is that we don't have, like, that we have religious freedom.

Yes. Put it that way. Like, man, like, you go to some of these other countries, like traveling is good, it exposes your mind. But when you actually see some of the things, these other nations are subjected to or laws that they are under.

You're like, man, we have it better than we know over here. Like, and it's a blessing. It's truly a blessing, because, like, man, I take it for granted a lot, because if you don't know any other way, you think your way of life is normal for everyone in the world. That's just how, because we as human beings are so self-focused, even beyond what we realize on a daily basis.

And then you really realize that there are whole other people where a nation's where Christianity is literally illegal. Illegal. Like, it's mind-blowing. Yeah, no, so, I was telling you the story.

I was sitting waiting on the board of my flight. I came across this dude. He was Palestinian. He grew up in Dubai.

Very friendly dude. He was telling me a lot, like, he was teaching me a lot about the culture, what to expect. Passion about jewelry and stuff. And I was telling him how I am fascinated to see, like, just various cultures.

Like, I was telling him I was just in the wallings the week before, now I'm going to Dubai. And so funny, but like, you know, people in Florida, you could have the same type of persons, you know, same echelon. And they speak different. Their mindset is different.

What they like to do is different, you know, and it's all in one country. That's fascinating to me. And I'm like, you know, so when I go to Dubai, I was telling him when I go to Dubai, it's going to be a whole different experience because now I get to, you know, just observe this culture and these type of people. And I turned around.

I was so excited about it. I turned around and I asked him if he had ever been to Tel Aviv because we were supposed to go to Tel Aviv first. But it was too complicated. The prices wasn't, I had a timeframe in which it was bound for me to travel, which was September.

It was bound for me to travel in September. But, you know, the prices and stuff, it just didn't work out for me. For us to go to Israel, Tel Aviv is the city and Israel. Israel.

Right. And so I said that to him and his demeanor change. I can see that he kind of got uncomfortable with me asking this. And this was ignorant on my part.

But he turned around and say, yeah, if you go, if you are going to Tel Aviv first, you would, they wouldn't allow you to go to Dubai. He said, if they, if you go to customs at Dubai for any Islamic country and they see that sound, they're going to deny you entry. And he said that definitively, now I did research and he got mixed reviews on that. But he told me that he had finally members that when they went to Tel Aviv, they got whole, they got completely different passports in order for them to visit Islamic countries after having visited Israel.

News to me. News to me, bro. I'm just like, I'm like, I'm like, yo, two cities that are not actively at war with each other. I'm thinking cool to go.

Like, I would never have known that if this country that is a Jewish country, right, and it's tension between Jews and it's certain Jewish nations or areas and Islamic areas or whatever. There's a lot of tensions, a lot of history behind that. I would never have thought that if they see the right to stop me being a behemoth man from the Bahamas, bro. You understand neither Jew nor Muslim.

You know what I'm saying? Like, just world traveler. You know, I just know that I didn't know that it would have been viewed that way. So you see, like, it got kind of real for me.

So now I'm like, he told me that I told me, you know, we're trying to talk no religion and dig over there. I would have never done that. But I guess he said, buddy, if you come on to me like this, let me, let me, let me warn you first, bro. I'm sorry.

You're really going to be a touristy, but buddy, we draw a hard line in our religious belief. You know what I'm saying? We don't cross out for no one, you know, but, you know, it had me thinking about the people who can't, it's illegal in, in Islamic countries to be converted from Islam. Yep.

That's a fact. You know what I'm saying? And so without me thinking about some of the liberties that we have in the Western world, that we think is normal all throughout the world, I would have never considered that, bro. Like people say stuff like that.

You know, people, you might get an article on the Easton side of the world, like, oh, these people arrested for preaching Christianity. This is not, I'm thinking, this is very specific instances. Like, oh, like when the man went to this tribe off the coast of India is like a remote island. Oh, no, y'all was breaking the law.

You know what I mean? Even to do that, right? Yeah. So I don't know, bro.

I feel like it came, it became a little more real me going over there because that's the first time I went anywhere outside of the Western part of the world. Right. Me going over there and even having a reality chat, you know, it really, it really taught me that everywhere is not like the United States. And it kind of, it kind of, I was excited to go to Dubai because like I wanted to go to all, like an old area of the world because that has ancient history, like I'm not saying they older, Dubai is a very new city, you know what I'm saying?

But it like has very ancient history, you know, that, that area and um, it helped me to understand why the United States is the way it is because when, when, you know, the Europeans, the British people, when they, when they first came to America, their whole thing was that we just left a place where church and state was united. We're not doing that again. You know what I'm saying? We're free here.

That's why we call it a free country. It's like, that's why it's like justice for all, like free freedom of speech, religious beliefs, all of these things like over here, church and state will be completely separate. But then you go to a room, you know what I'm saying? You go to Islamic countries, you go to, to Israel, these places, their religion is a part of their country.

You cannot separate it. So fuck, I mean, and think about it too, right? And it's debatable. Like we know why the founding fathers, don't be on this topic, right?

We know what the founding fathers of America really did, right? But we look at the Bible, the Bible will be on out your culture and your religion was almost inseparable. Yes. You know what I'm saying?

Like it's a part of who you are. And I agree. I agree. And so this, like it really was like, it really helped me to understand that where I live where I grew up and I'm saying America, I live in the US now, but we always been a part of the continent of North America.

Like that's just a region where our country, our country lies. And so this area, it is the Bahamas, we pride ourselves on being a Christian nation, but you could have, you could be any religion in the Bahamas for the most part, I think. You know what I'm saying? We have religious freedom.

We have religious freedom. You know, but that is not usual. When I go to Mexico, bro, a lot of people are Catholic, bro, you understand what I'm saying? Like you, the, um, the random dude offering you tequila, bro, you, you look at his key ring and he has the Virgin Mary on there, or he might have a tattoo of the Virgin Mary, bro.

Like, that, that is a part of their culture, but I feel like, like it helped me to understand that this is not my experience of church estate being separate, my whole life is not the majority of the world. Like, oh, it's not. Like my Indian, Indian neighbors, they're Hindu, you understand what I'm saying? Like, most Indians that I have ever met, bro, Hindu, you understand what I'm saying?

Like, it's like, it's like, you can see how religion and culture is, is married throughout the rest of the world. And I do agree that, like, I feel like that's not what should be in a perfect world where everybody serves the one true God, there would be no, you know what I'm saying, there would be no separation. That's your whole vibe. You think about it, right?

You just think about different nations now. And you literally could, like you said, you think about India, you think about Hinduism. You also have Sikhism, you have Baha'i, but you really think about Hinduism. You think about Chinese, you think about Buddhism.

You think about your party, you think about Shinto. You think about the whole Middle East, you just think Islam. You think about Europe, you think about Christianity, you know what I'm saying? Yeah.

You know what I'm saying? You think about Africa. They have a palaft of different religions. I'll be honest with you.

I'm pinpointed. Yeah, it's part of Africa and Muslim Christianity. Other parts. Yeah.

Yeah. Awakenness. So, but think about that. It's just by religion.

Mm-hmm. And the funny thing about it is like the freedom of religion concept is a more of a new concept. You could have all the Americans. That's all it is, right?

But it's a new concept. And you see in many countries around the world, they still have the, you know, they don't want to call it church and state and marriage. You still have like, your culture is heavily influenced by your religion. They're almost inseparable.

Like the Japanese culture is influenced by the Shintoism and you got the whole samurai and stuff. You go to China. Bro, I was looking at some of the tallest statues, and we're like, I'm gonna build it. You know what I'm saying?

You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying? You know what I'm saying?

She's like, but it's because everybody, the majority of women in my country's name is Maria. That's their first name. And so it's like, she likes a middle name or a second part of a given name because it shows her individuality, right? And I wondered what, like, to me, I didn't, like, I really wanted why did everybody name Maria, but in the Bahamas, you know, we share a lot of people name Vano and things like that.

You know, like certain people, certain names are just very common. Fox, right? Correct. And so, when I went to Mexico, I came across a lot of people named Jose.

And so one day I googled it. I say, what does Jose mean in English? And it said, Joseph. And obviously, Maria is married in Spanish.

Jose, I wouldn't have get that. Even though it's very similar, it's like, the EPH, like, you know what I'm saying? I just wouldn't have put it together. But I really, so, like, it really hit me that a lot of Spanish nation, because they're a lot, because of the Catholic influence, Mary and Joseph, they just named everybody's name after biblical figures like that, you know what I'm saying?

Yeah, when you get to, you get to Islamic countries, I met a few people named Muhammad. Some people first named from people last name, some people first, I lost name, you understand what I'm saying? Muhammad, straight up. And like, now, we've been laboring a point now, but it really just goes to show how, like, culturally, but, like, their whole vibe, their whole aesthetic, but Muslim, like, we starting on Christian or whatever, have you from your name, bro, from your name, like, everything about you, bro, is this thing, never forget it, because you can't, how could you separate, you know what I'm saying, whichever leaves us apart, who you are, you know?

Yeah, you really can't separate it. And yeah, it's really great to think about it. It's kind of dope, though. Like, I had Maya, like, I got...

Go for it. Go for it. I have always been a proponent of church school, because I do not... I find it beneficial for like-minded people to grow in environments where they can be sharpened by other like-minded people.

Even when we went to Bahamas Academy, that's an Adventist school, but the way we became in school is a structure. A lot of times, it's based on convenience, based on price of school fee, how close it is. Like, a lot of people that we went to school where they were not Adventists. And that they just, just because they was in the neighborhood, I graduated from Pentecostal school, because it was in the neighborhood, you know what I'm saying?

But it wasn't until I went to Oakwood when the overwhelming majority of people that I was around were Adventists. So on Friday night, we get it. Like, you know what I'm saying? I don't know if they explain to somebody why I'm not doing something tonight.

And if somebody invites me to do something that infringed on what I wanted to do, I would say no. And it just understood. You know what I'm saying? Like, I met people that were passionate about, but like, just being real, but it's a real you podcast.

Right? I met people that were Christians. I met young men that were proud of their virginity, bro. Fox.

That's the first time I... Bro. Yeah. Go for it.

Go for it. Go for it. Go for it. It's like, you get clown.

I ain't dressed like, bro. You shut off your virginity. Bro. Like, why are you 13 and 14?

And you're clowning somebody because of that, bro. It's a crazy thing, bro. But I met people like 19, 20, bro. And they very outspoken about that, bro.

That's real. Anyway. I got... It's a good pair of pressure now.

So it's like, you pay a pressure on the good side. So it's like, everybody is living right in this way. And I'm the odd boy. Now I'm inspired to live right in that way, you know.

And so it's like a marginal country. That's like, this, bro. That would be crazy. That could get annoying to them.

That could get annoying to them. I mean, until we get there. Too much of a good thing. You know what I'm saying?

Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. So like, I don't like granted.

Again, not all Muslims are terrorists. I want to just chop it up and think I'm right. But like, you have the extremists and everything. So now, man, like conversation went down to it.

Didn't really plan for today. Right? But it's like personal convictions now. Right?

Just because like, man, you could be convicted. That you could grow your hair. Yeah. Right?

If I don't, if I don't have the conviction, I ain't sin it. I ain't sin it. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry. For real, right? But now you're people who go push their personal convictions on to you. And now it's like, we believe the same basis, right?

But your conviction ain't my conviction. You take this to the extreme now. That's good. That's more power to you.

I'm not even my conviction just because I ain't doing it now. You're looking down upon me. Like I sometimes be he the man, buddy. That's your conviction.

Right? And they remind me that text. Oh, I can't remember if it's Romans or Colossians, but it's a text that a lot of people who try to justify Sunday sacredness. They say one person esteemeth a date and one person says all days alike.

Let no man judge you based on a Sabbath day. I can't remember. I can't remember. I think I mix it up.

One man esteem it, one day, and another man esteem it. All days alike, basically. That's the gist of it. But the point I try to make is Paul was even saying, bro, amongst us.

And you're so funny about that. But that same text, Paul never gave a resolve, bro. Paul ain't never say, oh, the man who's steamed is one day is right. You see what I'm saying?

Or the man who's steamed is right. You see what I'm saying? Or the man who's steaming is right. All days is right.

Romans 14 and 5. Romans 14 and 5. Now be clear. Even if they say, there's so many different types of sabbath.

This is weekly sabbath. You had a monthly sabbath. You had a yearly sabbath. Then you had a bunch of other sabbaths in between the possible festival is a sabbath.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Feast of Tabernacles. All these things are sabbaths. You get the picture.

I do not take that text of saying the seven day sabbath is the date that is esteemeth above the other. You know why? Because one man did not esteem that. God is steamed that day.

He hollowed that day. You understand? Just to make that clear. But I believe that to be talking about the way people talk about the way people fast.

You know what I'm saying? They used to have extra sabbaths on top of the sabbaths. They might say, Mani, I keep in Thursday. I'm Friday this week.

That's how holy I am. You know what I mean? And so the Greeks, when they converted to Christianity, they had to deal with the Jews that were also converted to Christianity. And the Jews, they were more conservative in their belief.

And so the Greeks, like Paul, make it somewhere. I can cut out. I can just cut to the chase for you all. You understand?

I ain't making you all a Jew in order to be a Christian. I can make you all a Christian in it. Yeah, keep going. I can say what make me laugh if you're done.

All right. But you cannot be trying to make people feel guilty. You see what I'm saying? If they don't have the same type of convictions as you.

That's the up point. Man, what I was laughing about, right? But that's the same conversation right now. I was like a big theological discussion in the church at the time.

Like, Peter was essentially saying, but y'all got to become Jew before you become Christian. Paul was saying it. No. They literally to come together and kind of like discussion.

Like there's like a big theological argument in the church at the time. Like this is when the church was new. You know what I'm saying? Like, but they came together, talked about it, discussed it, backed up by what they knew.

When they say, okay, no, you don't have to become a Jew before you become a Christian. And it's just interesting to me, because like before you show up last week, me and Dominic was watching one of these videos, right? And the guy was essentially like in a playful way, he was trying to go to the history of Christianity, right? And so he started off from like when Jesus died or what's not, right?

And then every time, like every time a disagreement happened in the church, essentially a new denomination or something would come back. That's true. His tagline was like, you can make it a nomination out of this. But I just want to be rolling.

He was like, yeah. So one person you can be saved by this, you can make it a nomination out of this. You can make it a nomination out of this. So when it comes to like the Reformation thing, you can make a bunch of the nominations out of this.

It's like you make me laugh. But yeah, man, like, and it goes to show like an, and that's the church group, right? All these, all these people became like, okay, have a certain method to become a method. We become a method.

We become a methodist. We become like, you all do it. We become this. We become this.

We become this. We become this. We become this. We become this.

We become this. We become this. We become this. Now we go over here.

We need a revival. The church day. Now we need a reformation period. We have a new understanding.

Imagine if you close-minded to the point that you become like, I don't know what I'm looking for, but you become almost hardened. Like, I feel like the church shouldn't be scared to read the Bible for itself and accept what it says. That's why. I feel like that's why a lot of the disagreements come and continue to repeat it in Paul.

All right. Peter had to give up what he strongly believed in the time because he found out through, you know, I'm shopping. I'm doing another fellow believer. That's what he was saying was wrong.

How I tell people is like the church is a hospital for sinners, but the church is still filled with imperfect people. But when we lose sight of that, we have our own pride into the church now is when you have all these disagreements, arguments, infighting, and people leave. And instead of coming to get in really trying to find a resolution, they just give up saying no, because we could do our own thing. Now, I mean, should we come?

Anyway, I forgot to let you know. No, I got to talk to you with your family. I have found that. So I had a point where I saw it in the big, very deep into things, bro.

And sometimes it's diminishing returns. Sometimes I get lost in my research on certain things. And some things I do bow out in Sabra. I don't know if there's an answer to this debate.

So you might have two denominations that argue one text, right? And once he had one way, the other way, and I read it, and I'm like, bro, I don't know, bro. Like I look at another, I look at other parts of the Bible. I try pieces to get up.

And for example, bro, like when we talk about this isn't a theological, this isn't a doctrinal thing, but the thought of Melchizedek. Some people believe that Melchizedek is, you know, some type of angel or something like that. He never died. He never, there was no beginning or ending.

Other people believe that's poetic in how it said, bro, I believe that he was a man, you know, but that's just my beliefs, bro. Like if we take the actual text, there's room for both, you know what I'm saying? So however you learn, I might be ignorant of them. It might be clear that it's one or the other, but you know, I just leave it at that.

But I see why you're by your land. You know what I'm saying? But I would have excluded all of the, like, like, like vague stuff that we don't have an answer for until we get to heaven. A lot of disagreements have come because people do not actually, people have not unbiasedly ventured into the Bible.

I just, I just saw the bait online this week by, these weren't really Christians, but these were people speaking on Christianity. This was on Twitter access. They call it now. And a few people, this guy, he made a post saying that when people speak to their ancestors, their dead ancestors, it's not their dead ancestors.

They would be speaking, implying that they speak in the demons or the spirit. I don't know what demons, I don't know. Check out what you're in the episode, shameless plug. Right.

And somebody responded with what we talk about at the witch and all those, like, wait till y'all see that soil can talk to the medium to speak to Samuel. And a few people had that same sentiment as to say, like, they're debunking this ancestor talk, like to say, hey, if we talk in the demons, right, what's wrong with that? Because soil did it. And this was in the Bible, you know what I'm saying?

And in my mind, I'm like, bro, people are going to continue repeating that. But I get you know, bro, there was like three or four people with that same response saying that and everyone who responded said, if only you read the whole story, they give no context. If only you read the whole story. But in my mind, I'm like, bro, this is easy, this is easy to debunk.

Like, all I have to do is give you the text and chronicles where it says soil died because you can talk to this thing. You know what I'm saying? Or if I give you another text that says how God feels about witchcraft, like I think it's Leviticus 20, bro. He talks about witchcraft a few times and that same chapter, you know, and a lot of people, I would hear Earl say something.

Earl speaks with gusto. Earl is articulate and it impresses me. So I take that and memorize that and repeat that as gospel. That's because Earl say the Bible say God know your heart.

That's the Bible to say that, bro. Like we know God knows our heart, right? But there's other texts that say that describe our heart. You know what I'm saying?

Like, it's not in a good way, bro. As a matter of fact, even in Genesis, they say every inclination of their heart is evil. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, but people would say, oh God, God know your heart, God know my heart.

We had a whole episode where we were saying, is this Bible or is this mine? You know what I'm saying? And that's because a lot of people hear stuff. It's beautiful.

Some stuff sound really smart. Like they sound biblical, but it's not. And the only way you would know that is by actually venturing through the scripture and reading as much as you can, however, many times possible. Big clocks.

Big clocks. When you really start thinking about it, bro, like, I was listening to Paul. I just might be probably just going to be one of those episodes. We want to know those episodes when we thought just keep on rolling.

But I was listening to Paul Cast the other week. Honestly, it's probably like almost like a month ago now, right? And this guy was saying like, man, a lot of Christians. He was, anyway, he was saying a lot of people are scared to enter the big, or have, or, or I can make someone have a posing faith or a different belief because they feel like the person would be more appealing than them.

Because he had a podcast platformer. He was saying people saying, oh, he shouldn't bring his person up. He was saying like, first of all, if you feel like the person is a stronger argument than you, then you should, then you should, then you should polish up on your arguments. I agree.

If, if you know you have the truth and someone else can challenge you on that truth and you feel like you can lose the argument, you should polish up on your points. I agree. Because it isn't a them problem. You can't say, because they did their research, they have their points locked in.

You've got to be able to have your points too. I feel like a lot of people just get up to the conversation in general because doing, you know for a fact, you don't have the deep knowledge because of the surface level knowledge. And if someone goes and lay a deep point, you ain't prepared for that. I feel like that's a lot of Christians in general because remember, we've sent the table last week, right?

I had to say something, right? I need to do a bunch of deep research. Don't quote me on this. But this, like, you guys saying, wait, any event, any event, y'all put my name on this?

And you all know, I'm 100% showing this here. I got to do more research, right? But that's my thing too. It's like, all the people would have someone say something while they're making a point or like, you listen to your pastors on, on Sabbath or you go to church on Sunday, on Sunday or whatever you're doing.

I got another big right now, right? But your pastor is preaching a sermon with a message. The text he is using is the support, the current message. Now, I'm not saying they could be out of context, they could be in context but missing their context.

I used to wonder why when I was growing up, people in church was actually like right down to verses I was being said, right? I was like, what's the saying? What you're doing, like, what's the word? What you're doing, right?

But in my old, like, moment, show us the sense that I see why, because now they go on back when they go to do further study and they go to actually read the context but these verses was in. And actually, for the cause sometimes we're obviously in process unwilling, but I would say unwilling, probably like innocently, like pull up saying a text to prove they point but it was completely out of context. If you actually said a text and context, you couldn't have used it for the point you was trying to make. And a lot of people still have a lot of different Bible verses.

So that's why it's so important to actually know the context of what these verses are being said because it quite literally changes the meaning of the verse. You know what I'm saying? And I know you're the perfect one with the filthy rags, that's the filthy rags. And I just think it's really important.

And again, me, I'm not perfect at this. I still have to remind myself to do these type of things, right? And it's a blessing, going through the podcast, having to read these stuff, all these stuff in context. I'm going to do different Bible studies and different emotional stuff.

I'm trying to read the Bible, read it in context and get an appreciation of it. But again, the Bible is a big book for me and everything you ain't going to remember. You know what I'm saying? Like, man, how much time do we say in this podcast?

Like, bro, I don't remember this. Yeah, that's a far grub. My sister, my older sister, she was telling me a story in the first time you were broke. And I know the story, but some of the details, she was reiterating.

I'm like, what? What do you mean? The Philistines kill all the armor bearers. So Saul and his son was the only one.

You remember Saul and Donovan? They don't know what that spares because all the Philistines kill all the armor. The blacksmiths. And I was like, what?

You know what I mean? I could not remember that detail. And I remember it was a story with David, did you? He said, it was a couple months ago, right?

You remind me. I was like, David did this. And I was like, oh, you mean that? And I was like, no, bro.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then you had to remind me. And when he hit me, I was like, I would never remember that story. I would never remember that story.

And that's the thing where I was like, you have all these different stories, all these different timelines, all these different things, bunks and around. It's quite hard to keep track. It's quite hard to keep track. And so like, and that's the beauty of the Bible, every time you read it, you get a different understanding.

How much times me and you, we would study for the podcast or any week, listen to it even on Friday before we recall it. I was like, bro, I didn't realize this topic like this. But it makes so much more different, like sense now. You're like, bro, what's going on?

So yeah, my like, to me, context definitely matters. Like I was on this long diatribe. So the liquid on context, but I really think it matters. But I'll tell you this, bro, writing sermons myself, it is very tempting, bro, to use a text that's saying exactly what you want to put right here, even if it's out of context.

I agree. I can do that. But I'll be writing it. In my mind, I'll be like, bro, you can't use this.

And so I wouldn't use it. But I just, I would just wish that I could use it. Like when I write a song, and I could think of the killer bar, but it's someone else's bar. Like, like I, I had times when I had a friend who, he's a rapper, he's a, he's a, he, he doesn't really put out music.

But I heard him say a bar like 10 years ago, like when we were in high school, and I remember the bar because it was so good. He probably don't even remember this bar. And now I write you, and I in the same rhyme scheme, and it would benefit me so much just to put that bar there would otherwise go to waste. But it's dishonest, you know what I'm saying?

Like I, I, I, I, I steal it. And I would be like, yeah, I can't use it. And that's what the Bible is for. That's the point of preaching it.

But, guess what? You can't quote, you can't, I can't use attacks out of context to prove my point. You know what I mean? Like, I can't even take a spot on example right now, if it's under me, I'll think about it.

But no, that happens, that's one example would be like, Mana, even everything is good, because when the when when when, Jesus would say it's not what it was. Oh, kill and eat when people don't repeat that division killing every name is good or whatever like no don't call anything I make it something clean. Yeah, but it's like when you read a context you like oh It's not a completely different meaning this thing talking about food at all This talking about like actually saving souls like it's Peter again You know the context Peter didn't want to go to that time. It's not a racist Again the church is made of imperfect people and and that's the thing people have to remember I said church is made of imperfect people imperfect people who try into one fine go out for themselves And who quite I'll see a lot of pride and might be doing things wrong Well, we see God himself to give Peter's vision into in a way that he understood because he's an unclean animals to him So you wouldn't eat these right but in representation to the something she wouldn't do I'm telling you to do but not in the animal risk I'm just using it as a metaphor to actually get you understand what I actually need you to do to help the church to grow to put You up by assist aside and actually do what's best for me in the kingdom You know I'm saying so like that to me That's a perfect one of people take out a context all the time and again if you don't read about it for yourself Someone quote that first to you.

You don't know what it says. So you just go along with it Oh, that makes sense. I never I never had a before and now you instantly lose credibility Just for one. You don't even know what you believe now.

You extend for anything and you easily deceive All right, I get you not like me. Okay. No, I hear a bodice week to it. It sounds so like simple, right?

But this guy let me say like when people believe the opposite are not believing in God is not it's not to believe in God It's not believing in God. But you say no, the opposite are not believing in God is that you believe anything. Oh, wow And I was like that's so true would be the opposite. Yeah, I was like that's so true But you think about that no because I was thinking I was thinking this morning But like I was telling you like ever since I left you by I go to sleep at 9 p.m.

I think about 5 a.m. No, no live I feel like an adult bro. I feel like such an adult. I wake up.

I pray. I read the Bible. I journal, bro Okay, I journaled that I work out and I do all this before you know all before you know all before it's time to clock it I work for like it's so crazy, but I've been waking up. I've been waking up really what we're talking about right?

Just lost my chair. I get so excited. Oh, I remember that. I don't know and so I was writing down.

I was writing down Like we're shipping God and also worshiping the universe people. Okay, so this is a little tangent Last time I used to journal I would I read this book and the book was like talking about creativity and saying all that like you keep things trapped in your mind and like they kind of like suppress itself in your mind You got a free of thought, you know what I'm saying? So you journal so you can keep your mind and creative juices flowing, right? But This book the person the person always used to talk about the creator, right?

And I was like, bro, that's so crazy bro. We are creators, you know, we were created, you know what I'm saying I read this book again after getting closer to the Bible and I realized they used the word creator and the universe interchangeably Like they really do. They don't come on and say the creator is the universe But they'll give credit to the universe for something and then in a lot of childhood They'll give credit to create it for that same thing and I was just like I can't believe like I can't believe I never realized this And so while I was journaling the other day, it reminded me of The universe it reminded me the universe and I still haven't thought about I'm like, bro people Worship the stars in the sky, right? But then I really wonder I'm like, bro, has anybody ever like Like heard from like what has the stars in the sky done to earn your worship?

Like, like, tonably, what have they done? And if you can make that argument for any God, for any God, you know what I'm saying? But I know for a fuck, bro, I had I've had miracles happen in my life, bro Things that could not Things that are very unlikely to happen that I prayed and fasted for and they came they came And they ended up hopping in for me right on time exactly what I needed it, you know what I'm saying? I have anyway, I preach, you know stuff like that.

So my faith in God is very strong But I just wonder like how do people start off saying we're like The sun, bro, the moon, the stars, bro, like these planets and stuff like that These are our gods. We pray that I might get the day beautiful, you know what I'm saying stuff like that But it's like how and it kind of gets you to to understand that people There's there's all type of beliefs out there and there are people that's there are different people that subscribe to these beliefs, bro You can say some you can say, bro, nobody will worship animals But then you can find a group of people that worship animals, you know what I'm saying? You can say nobody worship in an element or object You find a group of people that would pray the items, you know worship items stuff like that You know what I'm saying? It's like, bro, the opposite of believing in God is not believing in nothing, bro It's believing in what you say, man, and it's believing in anything, bro Bro, all type of philosophies come about and people eat it up, bro I remember it was a, bro, people make up their own stuff to confuse themselves, bro I remember there was a man, I get very, I get very, I don't want to say gatekeep I don't want to say like, I gatekeep certain things, but I get very cringe when people are talking about Like certain Christian elements, like I just feel like, bro, like let's not talk Anyway, I'll give you an example I'm talking about There was this guy, a young man, he's a black man He, I think he walked from New York City to Florida, right?

Walked and that's a truck Yeah, that's a truck, boy, and he said the Lord inspired the Lord told him to go on this journey and the Lord told him don't park anything, don't ask anybody for anything He's the Lord that's gonna provide So yeah, people just get to seeing him walking They see him walking, you know, the long journey People might ask me if you need help and you tell him it's starting out I can't accept your help, it's not this man, this man is in his right mind As he started to cross other state lines, people started taking pictures of him Saying, you know, I saw the dude, you know what I mean? So he became a, he became a thing, he was going viral When he, sometimes he would stop and talk to people, they'd record him You know, they'd pray with him, all of these stuff And some people start to say, bro, what if he's gone? People's in the comments bro What if he's gone, right? Love my people bro Like, a lot of people, like, a lot of people go Sometimes they just, like, just go out by their survivors Oh, it was like bro...

But the whole r- It was like... What if he's gone, some people was like, what if he's gone, right? And I had someone else reply He not what, and he probably not What if though for real though like and they seriously was considering the prospect of this mind being God like It really blow my mind because I just like I don't I want to be the conspirator to say bro You I you definitely aren't God, but you might not have been sent by God, right? But I can't say that I can't prove that you know what I'm saying him and the lord the lord might be trying to Straighten his fate for some reason.

I don't know you see what I'm saying I just feel like both looking at how much people but he really is treating us do it like like he was an angel I live him. It's the same time. You look like you look I suppose he was though I like you joking, but that might be true I'm saying like because you remember he was just talking about how like it was a text in the test where they're talking about hostile Hospitality of the first be the chapter four where it says be hospitable and don't grumble, right? But another tax is saying like how a lot sometimes you could be um entertaining entertaining agent's like why you know what I mean?

So like that I wouldn't I wouldn't I wouldn't rule out out 100% although I still don't believe that's what was happening at all But like let me describe him to you he looks like a man that has been walking for months You see it I'm saying like You say like it's like it's like it's like it's like when forest don't you remember a damn before it's just running It's like that Oh Oh, I don't mean love this movie by the way, sorry, I don't like what no business out there like that But it was a time when forest don't was just running aimlessly and a group of people nomadic people started following him And he just running though you see I say like he was a runner for anything He was like jogging just running dog like it's kind of like that But like to see people I don't want to identify him but they it's almost like all people worship celebrities But like that's kind of like how do you street them? But I'm like bro, I wonder if the enemy sent you to do this so that you could distract people I know but people just get so spiritual But I think it just boils back down in that case It's like by day fruits you will know them right because like while you're saying that the thought that was popping in my hair But it's like imagine when Jesus came about right and granted we believe Jesus was was was the son of god Fully god all that stuff can be accomplished for a different day, right? But imagine being able to sleep at the time this guy come in breaking the laws and you have established right Some of them like you know that like these these laws, right? And suppose you as a member of the Sanhedrin or what the next one name Sajisis and the far seas right and Like we suppose the enemy sent you right now because it really caused an uproar, right?

But I think about everybody fruits you will know them So now you can see the same way about someone who the enemy might have sent who's who god sent But like it's like what are the results of their actions Which one is more leading towards go which one it's not I don't know before sorry behind this guy But it's like goes back the goes back I think like by the fruits you will know them You'll find what they're doing. You can see what is coming from it And this one was a very humble mind always everything I see from him and here about him He's putting God for us bro. That's all I'm saying like he's like he's very clear He's a mama like he's saying like putting God for us But like and he was sticking to his to his faith walk exercise type of situation So I can't cry shame on him, but like the part of me bro part of me just like bro like I do believe things happen so to spread further confusion And so like just part of me. I just couldn't I just but I just did not feel about about about that You know and again it goes back to like this the car I want to probably start this episode was like the personal convictions name because someone was convicted to do something and God very well may have been to do that You start to feel almost weird and not saying that you do by talking people in general right from my perspective Right you start to feel way because you like they go out convicted to do that He didn't convict me to do something like that extreme.

How is my relationship with God? So people start to like feel and that's when I started to ask kind of what it's like It's definitely like why are you taking this so serious? And the next question is why shouldn't he take it so seriously other conviction you know I'm saying And that's why the word conviction he becomes such a like such an interesting word Because if you are convicted to do something that means God is calling you to act right And if God is calling you to act in this way who am I the judge it? But but it's it's it's such a subject it's such a personal thing too Because this is you and God's personal relationship like that's something like the world may never know like when when Abraham Was convicted to leave you know I'm saying like we read these stories in the Bible I know God said God told this person do this thing right but they did it right even when it seemed against all We really got to understand too was like this person that's a one Except what God was saying and then act on it And then the accepting the acting you were convicted that what's something to do was true And was honest God told him to cut like to to sacrifice his son to him You know what I'm saying and Abraham did it like everyone's gonna go to him and sacrifice my son Can't even tell his wife what he was about to do You know what I'm saying but he had a conviction from God that this is what I was about to do Against all logic Against all reasoning this is what God convicted him to do and that's what he says it's such a personal experience like Can't even rationalize it crazy the story I actually want to talk about today, right?

Is we good? Yeah, we good All of our law But like the story of Desmond Doss, right? And quick synopsis of people who like don't know about him He was a World War II essentially war hero, right? But it's not in the war hero in the sense that you would think he was a conscientious objector As in for him he did not want to carry a gun Think about this guy's a war hero in raw But he did not want to carry a gun nor did he carry a gun And Boxer he was he was at Venice.

Um, there's a movie on Netflix now He came out like a 2016 moves in theaters is a big deal But he was at Venice who was convicted In his heart that he should not be he should not kill anyone But he wanted to go to one and in the movie kind of gives him his box every get his book He kind of gives him his box story because when he was younger He much better got in the fight and he had his brother hit with a rock And he almost killed his brother Trunken enabled us from there. He was like, bro I ain't never taken up arms against no one I just gonna be able to preserve life But in his big, you know, World War II patriotic moment You want to help defend your country? You want to fight? No, but we can get the new version of we can do We lost our visuals, right?

But you want like but he wanted to like in this patriotic moment He wanted to like kind of like like defend this country, right? So what do you do? Sign up for what? Sign up to go to fight in World War II And in his sign of form he say I'm going to be a conscientious objector Like that's actually something you can actually take, right?

But man as you go through them as you go through the movie You realize how much persecution I want to say he went through hazing Because it shows like he went there when it was time to go gun No friend, not with everybody, everyone cool with everyone, you go on true training You in an army, World War II was talking about the go-to war So naturally it's going to come and leave the whole gun Everyone goes to grab the gun and he didn't grab it It's not just say recruit what's happening You know, I don't want you stupid like what you mean when you're getting this gun Like this is the wrong size, it's not what you're like What happened? He's saying, oh sorry, sorry, I'm a conscientious objector So you don't hear your problem, what you're talking about I'm a conscientious objector so they go to the captain The captain says, you don't want to get a fly, am I honest? He's saying, no sir, but I'm a conscientious objector He says, I'm telling you to go pick up the gun I'm going to fly, am I honest? He's saying, well sir, I'm a conscientious objector He says, I must have been a mistake He's saying, send the army there, there's no mistakes So now this guy, he's saying, sir, I don't want to go to war and take lives I want to help save lives, he says, you know you don't know you're going to war, right?

And so, I mean I don't want to kill them for people, right? But anyway, long story short, right? He goes back to his unit now, his training unit The captain says, well guys, let me introduce you to, again, to Mr. Desmond Dawes, who feels that he's not going to carry a gun Who's so, he's not going to defend you guys We go to war, he's not going to be able to have you a buck Bro, this guy get beat up from the people The seam, the seam, captain of the seam saw to him I'm like, I was just throwing hurdles at him every time But he went through it, bro, he went through it But then, somebody's supposed to get married, bro He's supposed to get married On his wedding day, they put him in jail Wow Because he's supposed to go back home because they're supposed to get a leave It's just like back home in defense of police You and train them a couple of months Then they give you the leave to go home for the weekend He's supposed to get married that weekend They say, no, because you don't want to carry a gun When you let him go Bro, when he was in jail, his wife, thank god, no say But he would be here, she'd be on the base looking for him And she was cheating on him, like, why don't you just pick up the dying gun?

I just don't use it Yeah, like, why don't you just pick it up? He's saying, he's saying, yo He ain't even about the gun at this point Essentially, but my conviction, like, who would I be if I already know I'm going to do something Just to do it to please other people at this point Anyway, bro, this is what I said on my way for life, bro Anyway, his daddy was a world war one veteran who had connections If I didn't even want him to go to war Because his daddy had lost his friends in war And his daddy was like, you're going to go to one, you're saying you don't want to pick up a gun This makes no sense You're setting up yourself a failure Anyway, his daddy had to pull up some strings to get a letter from the four-star general, the brigadier general Who went up saying it anyway? The guy's a country subjector, he has his belt in his right to not carry a gun and you all can't stop him This is something from the big boss, right? But his daddy fight his way into the thing, because he was supposed to get into the army court from at the point Somebody in here going to war No gun, no nothing, bro Anyway, this was what the crux of the story was So now it was just placed in Japan The movie called Hoxaw Ridge, but it was like, actually, how you were rich or something There was 400 meters, 400 feet tall, bro Whoa Big, big, long thing, I'm supposed to like, I know I'm making this long, but it's not the personal convictions The army had to get up to the ridge The Japanese had it up top there, that was the territory They go over top of the ridge, right?

Got it, he entered the army's emetic Saving lives, it was the thing, he entered the army's emetic In the heat of fire, bro, the Japanese was kicking their butts through They called it Hoxaw Ridge for a recent In real world, they called it the mountain of steel There was just so much people, which was just Dying, up there So much so that the American army retreated Right? They were treated and they called it like four off, when they were bombarded on it Because they were just losing it He didn't retreat The song, he laughed, right? Let me show you what this is, right? He stayed up there by himself, because he didn't retreat, because he got people, he still disabled, though Everyone laughed that night, bro He was up there, himself, under fire Just literally saving people and lowering them down with his bare hands On a rope, 400 feet His prayer, and he was saying to themselves, like, email us at him, but he looked up for him And his book, his prayer was like, Lord, let me just say one more Because he saved over 75 people that night Wow By himself, under gunfire, lowering them down to mountain, bro Oh, God, it's crazy The same sergeant, who was bullied, but he's the same people who was hazing him He was saying he was all part of the department The same sergeant, who literally pretty much turned the whole entire time against him Bro, he dragged the sergeant Like, a sergeant couldn't move, right?

Bro, he dragged the sergeant behind him on his back While people were firing at him, bro What was that? While he was firing at him, because he had to be open at this point They were firing at him, and he lowered the sergeant down Bro, when the sergeant got down to the bottom, he was telling the people at the job He said, no, the boss is up there, we have to like, he was only him one Like, they're on the dock, we have to go get him You know what I'm saying? And it's so powerful that like, anyway, he end up living, thank God And I'm coming down to mountain, right? But like, like, two days later, they go back Right?

Bro, and the same people who didn't want to go to war with him Didn't want to go back up the mountain with him Because they were saying, bro, we know there's someone who ain't gonna leave us Because when everyone else retreated, we were still up here alive Dying, someone without a gun State up here, and actually made sure we stayed alive And that was just so crazy to me, bro, like Because bro, truthfully, bro, you write off certain situations as a lost cause, bro Exactly You all already wounded, you know what I'm saying? We are not like, it's like, bro, like they're inevitable, it's about to happen Let's limit more people from getting hurt, so let's retreat You see what I'm saying? We're just doing like, no, they hurt, but they ain't dead, bro, like Right, it's so crazy, because the next thing I want to go up with is a Sabbath And the same captain, who was saying, son, you're gonna find my honest kingdom And saying, doss, I know tomorrow's your Sabbath But I have a group of men who refuse to go on top of this mountain without you But I say all I have to say, right? It really shows how powerful your personal convictions can be You know what I'm saying?

And how when you actually stand for something, you don't fall for anything And how even in the face of persecution, bro, just imagine, right? During training, they wanted him to drop out They was doing everything in their power to make him drop out The sergeant was even saying, doss, why don't you just quit? Why are you sticking going through all of this? Why don't you just quit?

And he would not snitch, he would not, bro, they beat him to a pulp, bro The captain coming the next morning, bro He bluddied, bruised, and so the captain said, doss, are you okay? He said, doss, everything, right? He almost boiled down, right? The captain was like, wait, the sergeant was like, I gotta address this, like He's like, doss, who will talk you?

Captain, I know what you're talking about, just not a bad fool He said, doss, are you sure? He said, well, I got watched in about like an hour cap, I gotta go But he wouldn't snitch on no one, but he just took it, but I'm like, think about it If he had dropped out, if he had just picked up the gun, right? What a less powerful story it would be Yeah, and these people would have died They probably would have died because doss, I wanted to do something good through you I gave you the conviction for a reason I wanted you to stay true to me for a reason because through you, other lives would be saved Through you, your story would be told Through you, other people would be blessed Bless through that personal conviction that he had with God That's beautiful, bro So yeah, I'll tell you watch the movie I definitely never Even though I say oh, so movie, bro, when you actually go through it, bro When you actually see these stuff, you're like, bro, what? I've heard the story multiple times, like I've heard people I kid you know, my wife probably like a week ago mentioned it was like, oh, it's all Netflix I gotta watch it again, like she already watches it I understand, I already understood that they're just of it But this is remarkable, bro It's just crazy, man, because like it reminds me and Excuse me, like first Peter, like when he was essentially talking about like You will be persecuted for me, but like just remember You're doing these things for me, type thing And man, it just reminds me of what people went through in the early church It reminds me of what we may go through in the future Our kids, our grandchildren, whoever like who knows 100 generations from now Whenever like that time of trouble or that time my intense persecution really does come back But man, to go through that and to know that you have the truth And to stick to it throughout all odds But like what that actually looks like You know what I'm saying?

You don't know why you're going through this You don't know why you're being persecuted Because everything you're doing is right You ain't hurting nobody You actually, you really just want to do good, bro Like it was like I'm a medic I just literally want to save lives, bro Like I don't really need to find it done for real Right Like what your problem is, right? I literally just want to help people Like you're doing everything right, but everything going wrong But are you still going to stand for what you believe? You know what I'm saying? And I don't know, man, like that just really touched me It's kind of like the emotional guy But it just really touched me because I'm like It's such a powerful story just to see like And to me, like I really like I truly respect when people like in the face of adversity They face of all odds You stuck to what you believe when you were rewarded for it You know what I'm saying?

And this time it was a beautiful ending, right? But not all the time it is But you stood up with something and put your neck out there And you didn't like, you didn't compromise your values, man And I know we don't overpower at this point, right? But like I feel like the church today That's gonna be a very unpopular opinion, right? But I feel like the church today, like Man, our standards Are just being like compromised to like an extent Like, like, what do you like, what do you truly stand for?

You know, I'm talking about me lying Christianian You know what I'm saying? Like I talk about us in general But as a whole Christian, as a whole, like But the standards have just been compromised And again, if you don't stop You fall for anything The opposite of believing in God isn't believing in anything Nothing's believing in anything And I feel like we have adopted a lot of any things Oh yeah Right in the church And it shouldn't be that way You know what I'm saying? Like, it's been a long standing principle in the church That, you know, we love the sinner but don't accept the sin And to me I should go across with everything Like, I mean, people use it for like LGBTQ things Whatever, right? But I'm just talking about lying, adultering, like All these other stuff, you shouldn't be common practices in the church You shouldn't be ramping things in the church Like, again, the church is a place where broken people The church will become a place where we come to get and be healed And grow together in Christ But again, it's a place where we should be able to hold each other accountable You know what I'm saying?

Like, it's a place where we should be able to hold each other accountable And if you cower yourself accountable and each other accountable And not feel so judged and judgmental Granted, yeah, people ain't perfect Like, come on, I don't know, I feel like I rambling out at this point, but Now I get you, bro, it's like going to a hospital I didn't give you all the medication You're taking it and spitting it out, you know what I mean? I mean, I ain't taking my meds to get better And by meds, they're talking about like God, the Bible, the Holy Spirit, like just right and wrong, you know what I'm saying? Like, I feel like a lot of times people make it seem like You come to church, you become a Christian And you just, it's like a I can go out and just wash away everything Like, you're just a new person, like type of situation But the Bible says that faith without works is dead, you know what I'm saying? It's like the Lord gives us the strength And the Lord does take things away from us Like, people say they struggle with addiction and all type of things You know what I'm saying?

They find Jesus and now You know, they don't, they no longer struggle with these things by the end of the day We can have the faith that the Lord is going to, you know, provide for us, help us with this Without we struggling with it But if we do not take any initiative, it is dead It is dead, it's not going to happen like We go to church all the time But a lot of times we are not self-reflective We do not look at scripture and say It's like you read the scripture You see, it's an Akareb, right? And then, you see he has a guy, right? A lot of people think he has a guy, a lot of people don't know that they, it's an Akareb You can be some Akareb, right? Last last week, you know, this week we supposed to talk about it And it's illness or whatever, right?

I command has a guy, well, I command has a guy because He was able to say Lord, you know what I've been good, you know what I'm saying? It's like, when Job say, when Job say, when Job is telling his friends I have not done anything, I want you all to just trust me on this This is not a curse of something I did, but I didn't do anything No, it's just the chemistry, guys, don't bring this up again, I tell you, I'll talk about this Hey, but even me, I wouldn't have believed that, right? But it's like, I can't believe how Job can say he can do nothing Because in my mind, it's like, everybody is doing something, you know what I mean? Like, everybody is perpetually sinful But no, it don't have to be like that, bro, it's like, your biggest sin today My biggest sin, bro, you and God can work on that To the point where you could year from now, months from now, days from now You could say, my biggest sin used to be cover justness, but it's my sister's money, bro I was just watching something on Netflix, it was related to this guy who was a Hindu And he so called and locked his ability, X, Y, Z, right?

When you look at, when you read up on these type of people who do meditation, bro Wait, like, it's amazing, some of the things that they able to accomplish, right? But it's like, with us, we thinking that we just say, I get baptized, instantly these things just go away We'll know effort from the cars, bro And a lot of times we ain't even know that we're struggling with this thing If we just ain't being honest with ourselves, we're like, I have finally members, bro Love them, the dead, we're hanging alive, bro But they've been in the church, long been Adventist, long and I was alive, bro Of character flaws, bro, that affect a lot of people, you know what I'm saying? And I really said to think about it, like, bro, how could you go to church every week? And it's like, you can't get the vlog of your arbor, like, you know what I mean?

Like, bro, like, it always used to fascinate me The older people in church, who used to be so hard on young people, right? And it's like, you could see, like, you know what I'm trying to be messy, bro But they'll be an older person in church And they very hard on young ladies, or your shirt to show out this amount But it's like, we could see, based on your children, that you wasn't always this mother to reset type person You see what I'm saying? Like, when I say children, I talk about, like, they might have, like, a bunch of different parties Type of situation like that, you know what I mean? And so I was like, we could clearly see that, right?

And it's like, bro, could you be honest, bro? Could you say, yo, man, I was like that, you know what I mean? I was fast, not saying that this person was fast, but if they were, could you say, I was fast, you know what I mean? that ain't the life we're trying to live, that ain't the guardian life in Christ.

I had to learn at the heartbreak but I come and I give you the game, learn from my mistakes and don't make your woman's mistakes type of situation. If we could be transparent instead of saying you're like, you already need a way to show it coming from the whole year to now perspective. But the problem is a lot of people, they ain't even overcome a lot of stuff from them. Sometimes people still have their same baggage and they're masking it.

Like you say they're saying and they're masking it and they're coming off as they better but like that's why Jesus used to call out the fire and see so much. Jesus didn't used to walk around this corner of how people go. Right, the disciples, they used to argue, who could be a Jesus right now and who could. Jesus didn't used to walk around and say but you all need to work on a jealousy thing bro.

But when the time was fitting, Jesus addressed it. But I wasn't always, hey, this is not, Jesus didn't walk around, but I tell people all the time, if Jesus walked around pointing out everybody's flaws bro, he would have not had time to get anything done. His ministry, he probably would have just been finishing up his ministry. If we had to stop and say bro, Peter, you, you, you, you thought about another woman out of the day, you might be, you know better now, you talk about another, I mean, Judas, you was a thief, I use a liar, you know like the sons of thunder, you all, you all need to work on your own time, but you aren't your daddy, but you're daddy like that, and all the sons of thunder, you're like, like for real, but like we don't see, like we don't see that documented in the gospel, where Jesus used to just be just hounding down people, you understand what I'm saying?

And again, if we were perfect, he would not have the reason to come back and die. Fox straight up, like everybody think about it. So again, to your point, I don't know if you put it, yeah, it, man, I played this with like, I was telling the guy to work today, right? Because man, I had a busy, I had a crazy busy Friday too, and this guy is new, he did help with something, right?

And like, like, at the end of the day, I'd make time for him, right? And he's like, yeah, I really appreciate it. And I was like, bro, I say honestly, man, like, I know it's busy, they're right, but like, I always want to be able to help for people who need it. You know what I'm saying?

Like, I don't want to be so busy, I cannot help. I say, like, don't feel bad, like if you have to like bother me or message me or something, like I actually actually want to help, I say, I feel like a lot of people forget where they was when they first began, like you can't just reflect on what you are now, you got to your point, I remember what you came from. I feel like a lot of people lose sight of what they came from, they only knew what they are now, and I'm like, but when did you lose sight? Or what you came from, you just lose all perspective.

I feel like a lot of people, like a lot of people have been in the church so long, they almost forget what it is to be an open sinner. And they act like they're perfect and they're not. You know what I'm saying? Like, you forget that you too still have to die to yourself daily.

You know what I'm saying? So, man, and we should be lying this pain, right? But a lot of people, and this is a hospital, they don't want to swallow, they may church their idols. Oh, bro, bro, you know what I'm talking about?

We can have a whole episode of that point right there, like, for like, oh my, but yeah, man, like, I could give my thoughts on this episode, could give yours. So for me, the biggest thing in the roundabout way, which is like convictions. And just how important and how intimate they can be. We talk about a lot this episode.

I really like, I don't know, I feel like it's one for the ages. It's been where where people sit on board cash, right? But I feel like this is one for the ages, but like, yeah, man, I think conviction, I think it's a really important thing. I think it's something that you have to take serious, serious in a point I cannot prove or have done that much research on, but I feel like God gives us all individual convictions, right?

And things we shouldn't and should not do and things he might want us to do and things he's calling us to do. And it's up to us actually act on those convictions. It's up for us to actually like, see it through, because God has something that only you could do. You know what I'm saying?

He's calling the cars to do it. God has something that only I can do. You know what I'm saying? And I feel like a lot of times we might let people get into our mind and talk to the talkers out of what God has called us to do.

You know what I'm saying? We get so wrapped up on what Susie, Sally, Tom, Harry, what they all go and say, you know what I'm saying? We get like, how will this be viewed? How will the world see this might be an extremist point?

People like, surely God can't be saying this. But like God have a mission that everyone who listen to this, everyone who who is born, God, something that he only calling you to do. You know what I'm saying? And yeah, we can say like, God, if God doesn't use, you can use someone else, right?

But the way God wanted to work it through you, only you could do that certain thing. You know what I'm saying? So yeah, I think we all take that time to actually listen to the voice of God, which you can hold up so on itself, but actually like, we have the courage to stand up and stick with the convictions that we have and have the courage to like, actually like choose like God's way. Yeah, and I think, I think it go back to the point we used to say a lot on the part, you know, know what you believe, why you believe it and where it's found.

I don't know the past year, well, maybe like a little over a year now, I've been, I've been hearing people say, just new stuff that I've never heard, like new theological points or new ways to debunk the Bible, you know what I'm saying? You might hear another religion say, Hey, this why the Bible falls like even even like our Islamic brothers and sisters who they want to disprove the Bible, they might show you a text in Kings where they say King Josiah was this age when he became king and chronicles in my same entirely different age, you know what I'm saying? It's like, I feel like in a way, I could know every every defense to every question that comes out there because a lot of times people make up their own stuff like I can't argue your opinion. That's what you're saying off mic.

However, I cannot be cold, you know what I'm saying? I can't go into if I have a conversation, even if I'm spreading my faith, others, I can't be cold. I can't be surface level. I need to be able to understand deeply what other people are thinking, like the way other people who are not Christians or other than other religions, secretionity, in order for me to be able to convey what Christianity truly is.

So I need to be able to get past that barrier that they created in order to get to. Now, obviously, the Holy Spirit helps. You know what I'm saying? And the Holy Spirit is there to inspire with me.

I can't be, I can't go to unprepared, you know what I mean? Like, and I feel like as all Christians, we need to do that. So it's like, simple questions, bro. How is Jesus gone?
