Episode 1606: SPIRITUAL PSI WAR, The Russians and the coming troops
from THE RAGGED EDGE RADIO ....with Russ Dizdar · host Russ Dizdar
Telepathy Siberia was known for its shamans: men who could supposedly wield the powers of telepathy, clairvoyance, and psychokinesis. These same powers—to be generated not by shaman drugs, dance, and drums, but by the power of physics and electronics—were searched for and experimented with by the Soviets. The paranormal, when properly harnessed in the bonds of science and acceptable doctrine, were to be employed in the service of the Russian state—in other words, militarily, and for espionage purposes. Russian experiments centered around three paranormal abilities with obvious military and intelligence applications: clairvoyance (remote viewing), psychokinesis (mind over matter), and telepathic projection, or remote influencing. Soviets claimed that in 1924, a Russian psychologist, Dr. Platonov, was capable of causing a telepathic knockout, putting a female subject to sleep at his command—remotely. This occurred at a meeting of the All Russian Congress Mandelbaum, W. Adam. The Psychic Battlefield: A History of the Military-Occult Complex (p. 114). St. Martin's Press. Kindle Edition.
