It’s easy to be sad about the passing of one of horror’s greatest men, but step back and think for a moment — how lucky were we to have Wes Craven? Seriously. How lucky were we that he gave us Freddy Krueger? He gave us Ghostface. He gave us chills and kept us up late at night with our lights on because of the dark, demented places his mind could take us. Even though most of us never met him, he affected us one way or another. On tonight’s ONE NIGHT STAND episode, Ron and Little Miss Horror Nerd take a look at a couple of Wes Craven’s not as famous or critically acclaimed films in 1989’s Shocker and 1991’s The People Under the Stairs. The Padded Room podcast’s Darien Brock will join the show for the latter film.
