Joel ‘Thor’ Neeb is a former F-15 fighter pilot, the president of Afterburner, and a stage four cancer survivor. In his days as a fighter pilot, Joel was often deployed to fly on presidential escort missions. He was in the process of auditioning for the Thunderbirds Air Force Demonstration Squadron when doctors discovered he had a cancerous tumor in his abdomen. After successful surgery and chemotherapy, Joel made a conscious decision to get the most out of his life. In the past few years, he’s climbed Kilimanjaro, competed in an Ironman triathlon, and appeared on American Ninja Warrior. He also became a partner in Afterburner, a company that employs ex-military professionals to teach leadership skills to corporate organizations.
