Episode 161: SGDQ 2020 / Fall Guys Special Effect

from Warp World Podcast · host WarpWorldPodcast

This week Xwater returned to give Poo and Jaku the news of his house fire last week. Everything is fine, but last week he gave us a scare. Xwater Played Ghosts of Tsushima. He liked it, but Poo didn't. However, there's going to be a co-op update to the game which makes them both want to play again. Oculus Rift was bought by Facebook, which worried a lot of people. They said you wouldn't have to login through your Facebook to use it. But, now they are reversing course on that decision. Will you be logging in on your real FB account, or making a fake one just for your Oculus? The new Battletoads just came out, and it's getting a lot of mixed reviews. Some say that the story and variety of gameplay is great. Others say the art is off, and the game doesn't do any of the things it tries to do well. Fall Guys devs are doing a skin creation contest. Whoever donates the most to the Special Effect charity in the next two weeks gets to design a skin for the game. Right now a lot of popular youtubers and companies are fighting for the top dono spot. Who will win? SGDQ just ended and raised $2,312,629.84. Did you watch it? Did it feel the same as the live events? This week's Hot Take is about Burger King. They've had an advertising company donating to streams to talk about BK. Is that ok? Should BK be blamed, or the company doing it? Should we keep this on our radar for the future?
